Average Atmosphere and Disappointing EXPERIENCE
I recently visited a unique cave-themed restaurant that had piqued my interest. However, my experience left much to be desired. While the ambiance was intriguing, the overall atmosphere fell short of my expectations. Here's a detailed review of my visit.
Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately drawn to the cave-like interior. The dim lighting and rustic decor created an interesting and immersive setting. However, it was unfortunate that the restaurant didn't fully capitalize on this theme to create a truly exceptional experience. The average atmosphere lacked the attention to detail that could have taken it to the next level.
One of the major disappointments was the quality of the mocktail I ordered. I had high hopes for a refreshing and innovative beverage to complement my meal. Regrettably, the mocktail was poorly executed, lacking in flavor and creativity. It felt like a missed opportunity to showcase the restaurant's inventiveness and cater to non-alcoholic drinkers.
To my utter dismay, I spotted a 🪳🪳COCKROACH 🪳🪳 roaming on the floor during my meal. This occurrence was completely unacceptable and greatly compromised my dining experience. The presence of a pest like this raises serious concerns about cleanliness and hygiene standards within the establishment.
In terms of service, the staff were reasonably attentive, but their response to the cockroach incident was disappointing. They seemed indifferent to my concerns and did not take immediate action to rectify the situation. The lack of urgency and professionalism in handling such a serious issue further marred my impression of the restaurant.
Despite these negatives, it is important to note that the food itself was satisfactory. The menu offered a decent variety of dishes, and the flavors were enjoyable, although not exceptional. However, given the aforementioned issues, it was difficult to fully appreciate the culinary offerings.
In conclusion, the cave-themed restaurant had the potential to provide a unique and immersive dining experience. However, the average atmosphere, disappointing mocktail, and the presence of a cockroach were significant letdowns. With improvements in cleanliness, service, and attention to detail, this restaurant could elevate its dining experience and provide a more enjoyable visit for patrons. Until then, I would hesitate to recommend...
Read moreI recently visited Dekav Restaurant and was truly impressed by its unique and earthy cave-themed interior. The walls and ceiling give the whole space a cozy, natural vibe—almost like dining inside a stylish, modern cave. The ambiance is calm and beautifully lit, with warm lights enhancing the textures of the stone-like walls.
The wooden furniture adds a rustic charm and blends perfectly with the overall aesthetic. It’s a great spot for catching up with friends or enjoying a peaceful meal. The seating is comfortable and well-spaced, offering a sense of privacy too.
Apart from the interiors, the staff were polite, and the service was smooth. I loved how much attention has been given to the décor—every detail feels intentional and thoughtful.

Ordered: Butter Naan, Burnt Garlic Fried Rice, Kadai Chicken and Chilli Prawns
Taste: Well, each and every dish tasted nice. But the Chilli Prawns was better, whereas the butter naan had a soggy texture. Rest, it was great.
Price: Not heavy on the pocket
Ambience: Well, it is a new concept so that came out pretty well, but the restaurant is still under construction, and even the menu displayed here is also not available. They are using a card like menu with very common dishes and least variety as of now. That was a bit of disappointing
Staff: They were very well mannered and sweet
Overall, it was good, considering the food being nice and also a new ambience concept. If you have not visited yet, can give it a go and have your own share...
