Cotton University Coffee House — Restaurant in Assam

Recently about a week ago, I went there to have lunch and ordered for veg thali and another day for an egg thali...

But both the day I felt that the items were the worst that I have ever taken with veg or egg thali in any other hotel/restaurant in Guwahati... The daal was totally tasteless, looked like a bowl of yellow coloured water... The sabji/bhaji were the worst... The Salad was not looked fresh at all and probably prepared on a day ago... Because I saw clearly dried pieces of cucumber, onion and carrots in the salad....

However, the price of the items are affordable here (egg thali 65, veg thali 55).....

I hope the other food items available there won't disappoint anyone and I feel that the veg thali and egg thali they are providing can be improved to a greater extent....

This place was very close to the hotel i stayed in Chennai and it was the hub of good food for us..you will find almost all kind of food here...Delicious sweets (sometimes at very low price if there are any offers) even the general price is quite affordable , coffee , all kinds of bakery , cakes. There is section which serves pani puri , chaat etc and its really tasty. The faluda here is quite popular. Another section where you get all kinds of freshly prepared sandwich , burger , pizza etc. And finally my personal fav section included all kind of traditional south indian and some north idian dishes as well..dosa , idle , iddiyapam you name it..its a wholesome store with a menu to help out many of your cravings! And all these at the most...

The place is situated inside Cotton University and is available for students. This canteen is just by the side of Mass Communication department and it's good to grab a quick bite here. The tea is certainly good. Good availability of other foods is also available here. The prices are very budget friendly and suitable for students. You can have breakfast or brunch here. The place is very clean and the service is fast. Cash as well as online payment methods...
