Palate Fast food — Restaurant in Assam

I would like to write a very elaborate review about this place, because no matter how much I praise it will be still less. As Palate is situated in the locality of many paying guest residencies, my brother back in 2007 when was in cotton college explored this restaurant. He would order the delicious chicken burger and a glass of masala cold drink almost everyday…he would come home and quite often used to say that what a perfect combo of meal it is.. Fast forward 6 years I got admission in Cotton and lived in one of the PGs in panbazar, not many people know about this amazing place as it is a bit tiny and does not catch your attention, on top of that idk why but people would go to that unhygienic filthy rebotti for food (still wonder why its so popular). So, during my coaching days as well, my classes would get over 12 and I would walk to palate and order the same as my brother used to…having the same items of food for almost everyday, I wasn’t still bored of the deliciousness. And to my surprise even after so many years there quality, taste, etc everything was all the same just like my brother had said..Oh! The softness of the bun😋, the rim of mayonnaise just hanging on to the bread, the extremely mouth smacking patty, the chutney..everything is just perfect..you take a bite of it and then quench your thirst with a huge sip of the best masala cold drink in the city🤩. Its freaking next to heaven😍. Its been 8 years now since I last ate there..I suddenly remembered about this place today so came here to check if they are still there. I am so happy that they are still open, I just can’t wait to order chicken burger and masala cold drink again, taking me back to the good old time memories again🥹. I just hope the taste and quality are still the same..

One of my most nostalgic places! It is near Don Bosco School and have a variety of fast food items. For over 2 decades the place has brought students to normal people for quick and casual bites. I love this place and the food items are well prepared, they have the same staff since its inception. One of their popular drinks is Masala Thums Up and rest all fast food items from rolls, noodles to fried rice and burgers; all are amazing.

It's great!! Yesterday night (Durga Puja Ashtami) we went there at around 12:00 and ordered 3 Chicken fried rice full, 2 veg fried rice half, 1 chicken chowmein, 1 full boneless chilli chicken, half chilli chicken, half chilli panner, 5 cold drinks..the bill was ₹890.. It's pretty reasonable. The taste was awesome. Will go there again whenever I feel like eating.. Moreover the quantity of food they provide is...
