Al Baik, Brigade Road: Tasty Bites with Room for Refinement

Our visit to Al Baik on Brigade Road was largely positive, thanks to its vibrant atmosphere and standout dishes. The food overall was satisfying, with the burger emerging as an absolute highlight—perfectly crafted, juicy, and packed with flavor. Equally impressive was the mango lassi, which was nothing short of heavenly: creamy, balanced, and easily among the best we’ve tasted. We also appreciated the reasonable pricing, which offers solid value for the quality and portions.

That said, there were a few hiccups. Both the Chicken Kadai and Chicken Fingers suffered from heavy-handed seasoning, leaving them unpleasantly over-salted and masking their potential. Service also felt strained; despite the restaurant being busy, only two waiters were covering the entire dining area. While they worked diligently, the staff shortage led to noticeable delays in attention and order handling.

Despite these issues, Al Baik’s strengths—especially that unforgettable burger and lassi—make it a worthwhile spot for a casual meal. With tighter quality control on seasoning and improved staffing during peak hours, this location could easily shine brighter. We’d return, cautiously optimistic for a smoother...

They don't have that taste which was provided during the initial days when they started this restaurant. Now, the taste is very poor - biryani has no spice. I ordered mandi recently and was highly disappointed, when the mandi arrived the mandi of Al baik is weird it comes in a plain kashmiri type pulav with cashew sprinkled on top and zero spice. Never seen a mandi like this in Bangalore. You are serving kashmiri sweet pulav in the name of mandi? Where is the biryani in mandi? Initial hyderabadi biryani was really good in taste but they stopped that & serving sweet pulav now. Please avoid biryani items, mandi you should avoid for sure. Never try their pizza as well as it was also not good. Tasted, sheik pizza it was pathetic. Avoid rumali roti as well, I had teeth pain for a week post having, it was so hard to bite. You can only order burgers, fries and crispy chicken as only...

Very bad service....i went last week tried turkish jumbo roll and alfarm jumbo roll....the taste was below average..as the name suggest the roll is expected to be 'jumbo size'...but it was lesser than a normal roll...we also ordered loaded popcorn chicken fries...and the waiting period was too high.so we parcelled the order....that too tasted average seems like old chicken.....very over rated and over priced also...the washbasin area was too smelly...its seems like nobody is visiting that place....dont go there..we went there with so much expectation..but really bad experience..the atmosphere, service, food..everything i will give less than 1 star.....if you can please close...
