Food: I was dying to have good Butter Chicken in Bengaluru. I went to this place for the same. Butter Chicken was ok, compared to Bengaluru standards. Nowhere close to what we get in Mumbai or Delhi. Portion size was okie dokie, would just be enough for two people (kam padega). The pieces were good, they were tandoori pieces, charred just perfect. The gravy was less creamy and more oniony (brown). The typical butter chicken gravy which is tomato-cashewnut gravy with a sprinkle of kasoori methi eluded me here. The gravy was what you'd typically get with chicken tikka masala. Not a great experience with their breads either. I ordered naan first, which was very chewy and arrived cold (although I was only one of the three tables occupied ). Then I ordered tandoori roti, they were either maida or heavy mix of maida.
Service: was good and prompt. However, I'd like to add that I had reached there around 3:00pm which was way past the lunch peak hour, and I was only one among the three tables occupied. I had gone alone, and although there were multiple servers available, I had to ask multiple times for everything.
Atmosphere: it was open like a balcony to one side, so was quite airy. But when I had gone there, there was rains and which made it quite pleasant. Evening I expect this place to have a lot of mosquitoes.
Parking: this was on a busy road, so parking would be a problem here especially for four wheelers.
Advice: Avoid this place if you're looking for typical Delhi style food. They...

Read moreWhen you have a craving for north Indian food, you can definitely head back to bhatinda junction restaurant. It is the newest Punjabi restaurant in Koramangala and with cosy charpais, tall glasses of lassi, and loud Punjabi music. Just balle balle to this vibes.
Bathinda Junction makes you work hard climbing up to their open air, rooftop location on the third floor, but with words of encouragement scribbled on the walls. The walls have cheeky messages such as ‘butter chicken on the way’ and strangely, a display of miniature cycles. There is obviously loud and lovely Punjabi music on speakers to make you get the dhaba feel. We tried here juicy stuff tangri kebab, paneer malai methi, with bread amritsari kulcha and Missi roti just elevating the taste. The lassi here gets top marks because of how thick, creamy and delicious it is. And the buttermilk is also one of my favourites.
It Is located on the third floor and there is no elevator to take you up. Plus, the restaurant tends to get crowded during weekends, so make your plan and reservation in accordance...
