I recently had the pleasure of dining at Toca Koramangala, and I must say, it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Located in the vibrant neighborhood of Koramangala, this restaurant truly lives up to its reputation as a culinary gem.

A stop for lunch proved to be quite a good decision.

Though it is a club by night, it is a restaurant by day. They have good food and you can have a quick lunch with your family. Do note that it is not a fine dining restaurant but a good place to eat without it smelling of stale cigarettes (some club restaurants do smell like that even during the day therefore the mention).

Whatever we ordered was really well made and flavourful. Mushroom cappuccino soup was yum. The nachos were different yet yum. Caesars salad was Indianized but the cheeses were well mixed. The pahadi chicken was awesome. The dragon chicken and lemon chicken were spicy for us but they tasted good. Perhaps a little more lemon or basil would be good. Just to go with the name.

The cilantro mushroom was different and yummy. Chicken lababdar was good though the kulcha could be softer. The chicken steak was good.

The bartender and chef seem quite creative and enthusiastic with their work.

We ordered watermelon juice, virgin Pina colada, martinee and an orange refreshing drink.

Conclusion - we had a great time with the food and drinks. You may not get the authentic taste of certain dishes but you will surely enjoy the flavours and ultimate taste of each dish.

The staff was also very kind and courteous. The manager Yuri saw to it that the service was good and also showed us around the place. The humble chef Vishwa was open to reviews and suggestions. The decor is well done too. Especially the lighting downstairs.

SPOILT THE WHOLE VIBE!

Visited this pub on Saturday, October 21, 2023, after traveling from Chennai all the way to Bangalore just to party , but my experience was utterly disappointing. I feel it's important to share my thoughts with both TOCA and visitors.

The exterior of the pub looks attractive, but the interior didn't live up to the promise. Ordering food required following a link, and inside, there was no network connectivity, especially in the basement dance floor area. They offered Wi-Fi, but it was excruciatingly slow, making it practically useless.

It appeared that most of the crowd consisted of acquaintances of the **, which gave off a somewhat unwelcoming vibe. The DJ's music was not enjoyable, and the repetitive looping was more of a sonic assault than entertainment. There was minimal participation on the dance floor, and the overall atmosphere was lacking.

Unfortunately, I started feeling unwell and decided to leave. It was a nightmarish experience, and I had concerns about my well-being. To make matters worse, the website didn’t even load, and my payment coupon expired the same night.

This has been the worst experience of my life, and I will never consider returning there. It's important for others to be aware of these issues before visiting. Hopefully, the management takes note and makes improvements for the sake of future patrons.
