Biergarten Brewery & Kitchen — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Have visited their Whitefield outlet before and loved their brewed beers, so decided to try their newly-opened outlet in Koramangala. Situated beside Truffles, Biergarten was on my must-visit list from a long time and finally last week, I got a chance to explore this wonderful brewery with my friends. This place has everything you would need to party and chill with your buddies – amazing ambience, open-air space, upbeat music, finger-licking food, and great booze.

Food

Soya Chaap – One of the best appetizers I have had at any brewery, Soya Chaap is a must-try from their vegetarian section. Tandoori appetizers are usually what I like with my drinks but this one was exceptionally good with delicious Cheddar stuffing served with chilli mango chutney.

Mushroom Galouti – Being a big fan of mushrooms, we tried Mushroom Galouti which are smoky flavored, delicious soft kebabs served with mini saffron bakarkhani and fresh mint chutney.

Mezze Platter – If you love hummus and pita, you should definitely try Mezze Platter at Biergarten. This lavish Mediterranean spread includes Crispy Lavash and soft Pita bread served with sumptuous Hummus, Babaganoush and Tzatziki dips along with Arabic pickled vegetables and Fatoush Salad. Loved this perfect Mediterranean party platter.

Spaghetti Aglio Olio Fresh Red Chilli – Seeing Aglio Olio on their menu, I couldn’t stop myself from ordering one and trust me it was the best decision. Despite being full with their delectable starters, we gorged on this Italian Pasta and finished it within minutes. Cooked perfectly, the pasta is tossed with olive oil, garlic, fresh red chilli, sun-dried tomato and parmesan cheese. Visiting this place again to have their Spaghetti Aglio Olio again.

Drinks

Starting with samplers that included Vienna Lager, Stout, IPA, Red Ale, Golden Ale, and Hefeweizen, I chose to have Stout which is a dark beer with two amazing flavors of burnt caramel and coffee. Perfectly well-balanced, this is one of the best Stout beers I have had in Bangalore.

From Cocktails, I would suggest Choconut, Mr.Bean, Achaarita and Musk…aah which are also their signature cocktails. Achaarita is a tequila-based drink with a tinge of Indian pickle, jalapenos and lime juice while Musk…aah had gin, fresh muskmelon juice with fresh lime and rose water.

Choconut is a perfect blend of cream-coffee liqueur, peanut butter, Nutella almond flakes with a huge dollop of vanilla adding to its beauty. For people who love chocolate and nutty flavor in their drinks, it is one great choice to enjoy with your food.

Out of all the cocktails, I loved Mr. Bean which had Dark Rum mixed with cold brew coffee and popcorn flavors. The presentation was quite impressive with this wonderful drink served in a fancy glass with popcorn in an ice-cream cone attached to it.

Desserts

From the dessert section, we tried two scrumptious cakes - Bailey’s Cheese Cake & Jaggery Mousse Cake along with Churros. Being their specialty, Bailey’s Cheese Cake is what you must try on your visit to Biergarten. The coffee-liqueur scented cheesecake tastes amazing with a nutty crunch flavor and Italian meringue. Jaggery Mousse Cake is served with delicious and soft banana cake along with mouth-watering coconut ice-cream. If you are a fan of Churros, you should have their cinnamon-scented Churros which are served with the yummy chocolate and caramel sauce.

This place is certainly a must recommended brewery in Koramangala. Recently opened with open area sitting arrangements will definitely give a pleasant experience here. If you are looking forward for spending time with your friends where you get some amazing dishes and freshly brewed beer then this is the perfect place.

Place is spread across 2 floors and has lots of seating space. Ambiance is very lively and perfect lighting adds up to the experience. Visit during evening time to enjoy the best of their ambiance.

Visited this place on Saturday evening and I was mesmerized by this place. It was a perfect weekend gathering.

We have started with the beer sampler to try each beer on the tap and order accordingly depending upon your choice. Beer on the tap which they offer are: 🍺Golden Ale: a fruity and light ale with low bitterness. 🍺Hefeweizen: my all time favourite, fruity and banana flavoured pale yellow wheat beer. 🍺IPA: deep amber fruity ale with hint of spices. 🍺Stout: dark beer with flavour of beer and burnt caramel which will give you a bitter aftertaste. 🍺Red ale: prepared with blend of sweet caramel, malt and fruit. Medium bitter aftertaste.

Starters which we tried and found worth every penny and can be best goes with

Saya chaap: this is one of the must try for a vegetarians out there. Cheddar cheese stuffed tandoori soya chaap served with chilli mango chutney.

Gambas Shrimps: this lovely dish won my heart. Loved the preparation and simple presentation. Taste delicious.

Fish Kurkure: batter fried fish, crispy outside and soft inside. Served with chutney which added extra flavour to it.

Chicken Tikka Bao: This is a must try over here. Super soft bun filled with delicious spicy chicken served with mayo.

Biergarten chicken wings: I was in search of good chicken wings and here my search Stop. Chicken wings were prepared so perfectly with proper ingredients that you will crave for more. Paprika dip added extra to the delicious chicken wings. This is must recommended dish over here.

Hefeweizen is the beer which everyone should try here. This is perfect as it doesn't have weird after taste. Fruity and banana flavour will definitely give you a good drinking experience.

Golden Ale is again must try beer. Beer doesn't have bitter aftertaste. Stout is again a very good beer and specially for those who love coffee and its aftertaste.

To end your dine in experience on a sweet note then must try their desserts.

Bailey's cheesecake: must recommended to try this. What a lovely cheesecake. This delicious coffee flavoured cheesecake will melt in your mouth.

Churros: crispy on the outside, soft and tender on the inside and they have a flavor no one can resist! Cinnamon scented churros served with chocolate and caramel sauce will definitely be the best.

Belgian chocolate cake: perfect dessert for chocolate lovers, creamy chocolate cake served over blueberry mousse. Presentation of the dessert was very creative and innovative.

Review by our team Ghatotkatcha How awesome can the newest brewery of Koramangala be. Lush green interiors defining the name. The ambiance is perfect for a beer anytime here. They also have solicitor special for regulars. Biergarten is where one can enjoy fresh craft beer along delicious food of many cuisines. The service is good and fast.

Coming to the Brews: Hefewizen: One of the best Hefe in town. One can easily down two. Smooth and not so bitter. It's how a Hefewizen should be. Golden Ale: This comes with the least alcohol percentage. A pick for light drinkers. IPA: The dash of citrus in your beer is never bad. Stout: Coffee and Chocolate in your beer. A perfect stout after a long time!! Vienna Lager: This is slightly reddish brown and not so bitter. A unique brew and this was my drink.

Seasonal beers Rye: The not so sour Rye. Very well brewed. Double IPA: For citrus lovers, this can always be fantastic!! Double the flavour of lemon.. as summer is slowly starting, this can be a perfect drink for this spring.

Food, Vegetarian Startes, Mushroom Galouti: Man!! This is a must try for vegetarians who need to taste the Galouti Kebabs. This was a perfect replication of the Mutton Galouti. Mushrooms were perfectly minced and given a fantastic flavour by the chef!! Soya Chap: When you hate Panner, you can definitely go ahead with this. Me being a less Panner eater, this was good. Soya Chap from the streets of Delhi reminded me here. Crispy Fried Lotus Stem: It was a but hard and maybe have to work out a bit on this. Veg Nachos: Decent Salsa and a good bar bite

Non vegetarian starters, Tandoori chicken momo: Maybe the Chef is from Delhi, these dishes came out very well. Chicken momos given a tandoor touch with exact amount of spices. This will come under my favourites Chicken Nachos: Decent salsa with Chicken, definitely a lovable bar bite Gushao Chilli Chicken: The Chinese style chilli chicken was made good. Las Maas Tacos: Lal Maas Tacos.. This definitely enters Ghatotkatcha recommends. Butter Chicken Sliders: As I told you, the Chef is doing a fantastic job. Butter Chicken presented in a different and unique way. Soft butter chicken with amazing slider. Butter chicken in a starter. Cool!!

Main course, Agilo Olio: one word description- amazing. Thai Curry with Jasmine rice: Green curry based on Broccoli and other veggies is definitely a super combination. I am definitely coming back for this. Diavola: Pizza with lots of cheese, who doesn't want this Diavola? This delicious pizza had lots of olives and jalapenos with high amounts of Mozarella!!

Desserts, Bailey's Cheesecake: One of a kind!! Good if you choose this. Churros: Cool!! Jaggery Mousse Cake: Chocolate Kalhua Mousse: This is strictly for choholics. Coffee liquid and chocolates

Had a fantastic time here. No glitches, one can have a good experience here. One comes to a brewery or a restaurant for some good experience. Biergarten definitely gives you more than expected. I would definitely would love to comeback here. The manager is super cool, he takes care of guests very well. The waiters are no less, they won't let you loose your comfort.
