Ganbeii Microbrewery — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Went to their Christmas eve buffet 'so called buffet '.

Service: Absolutely in shambles. initial 15-20 mins took to figure out for the staff how to verify if someone has come for Christmas buffet or walk in.

Staffs are clueless about what to serve for set buffet. The buffet and regular service was possibly done at the same time.

Buffet was a set menu highlighted at the entry but the food wasn't served even after 40 mins.

Portion served: they should be absolutely ashamed of themselves to call it a buffet service and serving small portions.

While waiting for food, I decided to go down to the reception and the item list what was supposed to serve.

1st course. Veg Ceaser salad & Non veg Ceaser salad - veg Ceaser salad had 2 pcs of croutons and the plate was filled with lettuce. Took 38mins to replace.

Non veg Ceaser salad: lettuce and some shredded chicken. Still ok

2nd course - Veg and Non veg soup. Non veg soup was served 1st and server informed it's veg. RED FLAG

veg soup came after we followed up multiple times . Cream of tomato soup which was nothing but undercooked tomato puree with some sugar added for sweetness. A chef can't make a basic tomato soup should STOP cooking.

3rd course- Veg and Non veg starters. Veg bruschetta was served. Okayish

Non veg starter never came.

4th - main course - paneer and chicken steak with some rice.

Paneer was raw and rubbery. Stone hard in a way. Chicken steak was warm but undercooked.

The portions served doesn't justify the price they charged plus the quality of materials is questionable.

We didn't wait for dessert. Wine was complementary and I swapped with one beer but didn't consume consume it fully as we were already pissed off given the service and the food.

Each and every item had to be asked for. They seemed very very less bothered about customers sitting idle and writing review about them.

We left in the middle of having food after finding some raw bits of chicken steak and stone hard paneer.

Any Tom, Dick, Harry can now start a Pub business but only commited ones survive in this cut throat competitive f&b market.

We booked thru BookMyShow and sincerely urge them to review and then post these ads on their app/website.

Recently visited this place and it was the most horrible experience in recent times.

As I entered, the ambiance was good but felt the vibe missing. The music from Gilly was so loud already, Ganbei DJ took it as a competition and kept volume high and it was this while confusion between the two. Instant vibe killer. We ordered blueberry and mango beer along with chicken fried slider and some chicken fries. While the beers arrived immediately, the food took more than 30 minutes. We were starving all this while, asked multiple people but were helpless. The beers were below average, would never pick to drink them again. The food arrived super cold. I mean the fries were cold, the burger was cold, the patty was out of the refrigerator. Fresh food? What is that! I called the waiter and told them the food is cold. Funny they asked, oh you want hot food. That will take time, well 30 min for cold food isnt enough afterall. They microwaved the food and brought it. Fries were soggy, chicken was chewy and very hard to chew. We returned the burger, it was just not edible. I dont know how old was the chicken patty. We were famished so we ate the fries, which were too bad but atleast edible. Mr. Rahul, who was the manager interfered multiple times despite telling him the issue with the food, yet kept insisting to order other items. I understand and am thankful for the kind gesture but please understand the fine line when it becomes forceful. We asked for the bill and were compensated with extremely dry smelling chocolate pastries which weren’t edible. Thankful for the gesture but sorry I havent had such food in the longest time. Paying almost 1000 bucks with unhappy experience and hunger, we left in pure disappointment and dissatisfaction.
