Visiting this place since many years now.. .. Why 3 stars... Canteen needs drastic improvement..one star less Other facilities like pool and kids play area not updated...one star less

The club had been under renovation since many years now... People had to sit under shamiyana and tent....literally until the new club house was completed.many deadlines were missed and finally the project is completed and looks good....check out the pics attached after renovation.

My pros and cons as below Pros New club house is splendidly done.. spent lots of money, on it

Seating area is bigger

Kitchen is cleaner and is now see through

Compulsory shoes and collared shirt or tshirt for men..good... Gone are those days of round next and sandals allowed. Maintains neatness...good Senior citizens however are allowed with slippers.

Sanitisers everywhere... Good

Lawn is getting ready..

Zed the Baker is now open here.. nice food as he is kept the same standard he has kept in other clubs too.tasty too

Neutral points... Entry and exit for blue sticker vehicles from airlines side and also from the church side near koshy

Entry and exit for non-members guests and affliates from koshy side- church side only

No entry for anyone from india garage side/st Marks road.... Main gate is still not open for use.

Cons and improvement areas

security service personnel are rude( some of them) and lack knowledge ...needs improvement

parking space is now reduced. At one point of time this club could be said to have the best parking in all of the club's nearby to it...

despite the club house ready , they are still allowing pay and park for others.. members are not getting enough slots

earlier driver driven vs self driven cars of members had different areas and it was more private. Now drivers are parked everywhere and can see what the mem bers are doing on their tables.... Seriously this is not at all nice.

no children play area anymore. They claim to be coming up with one... As of now no area for kids

canteen taste is not good... Same caterer since some time with not so good food. Other Club's nearby have much tastier food...look around there are about 4 club's around Bowring. Maybe needs a new and better canteen contractor

bar does not offer any discount .. other clubs have offers

they should cut down on new memberships, it's getting crowded with the existing members..

no improvement or renovation done in other areas such as pool, poolside hall, etc not so good Guestrooms have been rejuvenated.good.

no signboards in place for lots of things... Building is complete... But no signboards
