Socials wasn't socializing today. We went here on May 1st, and most of the place was empty, like 90% empty. It was good to see Socials like this for a change. No loud music, comfortable seating, quick service, what else do you want from a restaurant? I had heard a lot about their breakfast menu from my friends, so I wanted to try it out, and I couldn’t have chosen a better day than this. The staff was very courteous and cooperative at all times. The menu has a wide variety of items to choose from, and they are fairly priced (you have to scan the code to get the menu). The ambience of Socials has always been good. The food did not take a lot of time to reach the table.
So, we ordered the Sids very posh breakfast; it’s basically an all-day English breakfast combo. You get (there are a lot of combos you can try in this, but this is what I chose) hash browns, baked beans, cheese omelette, bacon, sausage, cookie, white bread, and bread and jam. The hash browns were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, just perfect. The Baked Beans were a little tomatoey for my taste; I also got a strong rosemary flavour, which overpowered the dish with little hints of garlic and black pepper. The cheese omelette was soft, fluffy, cheesy, and beautifully cooked. The Bacon, however, I found to be dry but not crisp, if you know what I mean, though it did not lose its bacony flavour. The Sausage was soft and greasy, and this too had a very strong rosemary flavour. The Cookie was a nice accompaniment for the breakfast combo; it was sweet and dry, just like a local bakery cookie. You get white bread in this combo, which was not toasted, along with butter and jam. I got the Mocha for the beverage; it was just fine, nothing worth mentioning.
On the whole, we had a good time here. I’m sure this place is worth coming back to try the other items on the menu. I would like to give the:

Ambiance Aplenty: Walking into Church Street Social is like stepping into a trendy, yet comfortable space. The decor is a cool mix of rustic and industrial, with plenty of seating options to suit your mood. Whether you want a cozy corner booth for catching up with friends or a spot at the bar to watch the game, they've got you covered.
Grub Glory: The food menu at Church Street Social is a delightful surprise. It goes beyond typical pub fare, offering international bites with a unique twist. I highly recommend the [mention a specific dish you enjoyed], but everything from their appetizers to [mention another course type] looked tempting. There are even vegetarian and vegan options available.
Liquid Delights: The drink menu is equally impressive, boasting a wide selection of cocktails, beers, and wines. Their signature cocktails are creative and well-balanced, and the bartenders are happy to whip up something special based on your preferences.
Service with a Smile: The staff at Church Street Social is friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They were quick to answer questions about the menu and make recommendations, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience.

Read moreOne of the best restaurants I have ever been too. The first place I was recommended when I came to Bengaluru by my friends was the Social. So naturally I was pretty hyped up about this place. When I visited this restaurant, it stood up to all of my expectations.
The ambience is mesmerizing. The service is quick. The staff is very polite and co-operative.
Coming to the food we ordered, Grilled Tenderloin Steak with Black Pepper jus and Mash, Social Egg Bhurjee, Butter Chicken Biryani, Steak n Eggs Kejriwal Benedict Salli par doughnut
Grilled Tenderloin Steak with Black Pepper jus and Mash - The beef was well cooked, it was juicy and tender, and the mashed potatoes too were very good. An excellent overall dish.
The bhurji pao too was one of the best bhurji's I have had in a while. It was flavourful. The presentation was unique as it was served in a tiffin box. The thickness and the texture of the bhurji was right on point. It wasn't too dry or too thin. Only downside is that they serve just one pao with it.
The butter chicken biryani was the best of the lot. The butter chicken gravy in the biryani was on point. One of the finest butter chicken gravy I have tasted until now. The quantity is plenty to fill one's tummy.
The Steak n Eggs Kejriwal Benedict Salli par doughnut too was really good. The beef was nice and juicy. The omelette was flavourful. The taste was perfectly balanced. The quantity too was good.
The food pricing is very reasonable, given the place where it's located at, the quality and quantity of the food.
I would love to visit this restaurant again, whenever I come back...
