Chatni Chang, located in the vibrant city of Bangalore, is a dining destination that promises an eclectic culinary experience with a fusion of Indian and Asian flavors. Situated in a bustling neighborhood, this restaurant has garnered a loyal following for its innovative dishes, inviting ambiance, and exceptional service.

The first thing that strikes you about Chatni Chang is its chic and contemporary decor. The restaurant features a stylish interior with comfortable seating, modern lighting, and tasteful decor elements that create a warm and inviting atmosphere. Whether you're planning a casual meal with friends or a special dinner date, the ambiance sets the perfect tone for a memorable dining experience.

The menu at Chatni Chang is an exciting blend of Indian and Asian cuisines, offering a wide variety of dishes that cater to diverse palates. For starters, the Crispy Lotus Stem and the Thai Basil Chicken are absolute must-tries. The lotus stem is delightfully crunchy and tossed in a tangy sauce, while the Thai Basil Chicken is fragrant and bursting with flavors.

For the main course, the Burmese Khao Suey stands out as a signature dish. This rich and creamy coconut milk-based noodle soup is served with an array of condiments, allowing you to customize your bowl to your taste. Another highlight is the Mangalorean Ghee Roast Chicken, a spicy and flavorful dish that pairs perfectly with the garlic naan or steamed rice. Vegetarians will love the Paneer Khurchan, a dish featuring paneer cooked with bell peppers and spices, offering a delightful mix of textures and flavors.

Chatni Chang also excels in its Asian offerings. The Sushi Platter is a crowd favorite, featuring fresh and expertly crafted rolls that are both visually appealing and delicious. The Thai Green Curry, with its aromatic blend of herbs and spices, is another standout, providing a comforting and satisfying meal.

No meal at Chatni Chang is complete without trying their delectable desserts. The Sticky Toffee Pudding and the Mango Pannacotta are both heavenly, providing a perfect sweet ending to a delightful meal.

The service at Chatni Chang is exemplary, with attentive and knowledgeable staff who are always ready to offer recommendations and ensure your dining experience is nothing short of exceptional. The prices are reasonable, making it a great option for both casual outings and special occasions.

In conclusion, Chatni Chang in Bangalore is a culinary haven that offers a delightful fusion of Indian and Asian flavors in a stylish and comfortable setting. With its diverse menu, excellent service, and inviting ambiance, it is a restaurant that guarantees a memorable dining experience. Whether you are a local or a visitor, a meal at Chatni Chang is an experience you won't...

Laying out a buffet is an art by itself and they at Chutney Chang, are proud to say they have consummately perfected the art for the gourmand as well as a simple food lover.

Their signature wide variety of buffet selections will take you to unknown corners of India and China to get a taste of the local flavor from regionally inspired specials perfected through the years.

Doesn’t really matter whether you are vegetarian or non-vegetarian, whether you love Indian or prefer Chinese food or an exotically flavored fusion of these two - there is always something to tantalize your taste buds and your preferences.

Chutney Change serves the longest and most sumptuous buffet in Bangalore with a spread of more than 55 items. It is an endless feast where you begin with zesty soups and bite into the captivating hot starters.

If you are not yet ready for main course, just stop at the chaat counter where piquant, spicy flavors of bhel puri and dhai puri come softly drifting towards you.

Enjoy a bit from different varieties of chaats, catch up with pals and get ready for the main course. That sure will take you on a culinary spin. It’s impossible to taste all and impossible to pass on too. You would love to savor the dazzlingly sinful display of freshly-made gourmet pastries and custom-created ice-creams. But there’s only so much a stomach can take.

The Tawa Seer Fish and Kachhi Ghosht ki Biriyani, nestling amidst an endless array of prawn, chicken and meat dishes, are literally revered by the non-vegetarians. They rank high in popularity along with the perpetually best-selling marinated and grilled dishes.

So is Cauliflower Tai Pei, Zaffrani Paneer Tikka and Pan Fried Chinese Greens - the most sought-after dishes for the vegetarian.

Its casual yet luxurious atmosphere makes it a favorite haunt for everyone - a couple of friends meeting for lunch/ dinner, corporate get-togethers or family parties.

All dishes are changed regularly. A different spread every time.

I visited Chutney Chunk on Museum Road in June 2025 along with my wife, my 13-year-old son, and my 6-year-old daughter. Around 6–7 years ago, I had visited this same restaurant and the food was truly enjoyable back then. But unfortunately, this time the experience was completely disappointing. The overall quality of the food was not good, it lacked taste, freshness, and the uniqueness that used to make it special. There were very few varieties available, especially when compared to the Chutney Chunk branch in Jayanagar, which still offers a much better range and quality.

One of the most disappointing parts of the visit was the dessert. There was a small chocolate item called Chocolate Mountain in the dessert section, but the chocolate on it tasted like wax. It didn’t melt in the mouth and was very chewy, almost like bubble gum. It was very unpleasant to eat and did not feel like a proper dessert at all. The quality of desserts was really horrible.

We went as a family, and while my 13-year-old son tasted all the available dishes, my 6-year-old daughter didn’t eat any of the main food items. She just had two small cupcakes and three scoops of ice cream. Despite this, we were charged more than ₹600 just for her, which felt completely unfair. It’s not about the money itself—I'm always ready to pay for the right food and service—but what my daughter consumed was very minimal, and the charge for that is not justified at all. It feels like the billing was not honest, and I strongly believe the restaurant should review this and refund the extra charge. What she ate could have been easily valued much lower.

The only good part of the entire experience was the service provided by one of the bearers, Sanam Chhetri. He was extremely polite, helpful, and made sure we were comfortable throughout. His professional and friendly behavior really stood out and was the only highlight of the visit.

Overall, this visit was a huge letdown. Poor food quality, limited variety, terrible desserts, and unfair billing made it a very...

Recently visited Chutney Chang in Church Street to try out the claimed longest buffet in Bangalore. Location is very calm and peaceful because it’s on Museum road. Ambience is nice, comfortable seating arrangements and ample space to move around. Buffet starts with the chaat counter followed by non veg soup station, 2 non veg starters, 2 non veg Chinese gravies, 2 non veg Indian gravies, non veg biryani, salad counter followed by the veg section of veg soup, 2 veg starters, 2 veg Chinese gravies, 2 veg Indian gravies, noodles, Indian flatbreads, pulao, another non veg rice, veg and non veg momos, desserts and towards the end, the live counter for veg and non veg grills. A total of 45+ dishes. The soups were warm and comforting and I thoroughly enjoyed the chaats from the live counter as well. I tried the dahi puri and sev puri and both were made really well with the right balance of sweet and tangy. In the live counters I tried the paneer tikka, grilled pineapple and malai babycorn while my friend tried the tawa fish fry. The paneer tikka was really good, and my friend relished the fish. Malai babycorn was a tad bland for my liking. Pineapple had a little fermented taste which I didn’t like. The paneer gravy was good, more on the sweet side, the mixed vegetable gravy was quite good. Noodles and Navarathna pulao were good, the baby corn gravy was over salted though! Momos were equally good too. My friend liked the non veg appetisers but again the Chinese gravies were a bit let down in terms of flavour balance. Indian gravies were excellently done. Desserts were decent. Brownie was very dry, could have been fudgier. Even the red velvet cake wasn’t that moist. Indian sweets were again really delicious Overall a nice place to visit with your loved ones, especially for big families. Service is courteous and polite. They keep changing the plates and cleaning which was a great sign
