From what I hear, Brik Oven is one of the first pizzerias to bring a wood-fire baked Neapolitan-style pizza to Bengaluru, and that itself says so much about its reputation as a renowned pizzeria and its taste. What I savoured here as a customer, and as a pizza lover is bliss and brilliance. I came here on a Saturday evening and I had the mood for a good wood-fire baked pizza and the moment I saw Brik Oven, I unequivocally chose to eat there amongst all other restaurants and outlets in the mall. I was with my best friend this time and we sat at a table for two. The ambience was very casual yet very peaceful and calming. The aesthetics were quite charming and it was very clear that customers there were having a lovely time. We ordered for Mama's Ricotta Bombs, Roasted peppers, Onions and Feta Cheese Garlic Bread as starters/appetizers. And my, my, were they truly dramatic. Ricotta is so similar to Paneer is so many ways but these bombs made me truly understand the difference between this Italian Paneer and our Indian Paneer. It was perfumed subtly with herbs and was paired with Marinara sauce which I believe and was told was made from San Marzano Tomatoes. The sauce was fresh, clean, tangy and pairs very very well with the Ricotta bombs that had a crunchy and salty outside thanks to the breadcrumbs and garnishing of Parmesan and a textural and moreish inside thanks to the freshly made Ricotta. The dish was great in almost all ways. But it certainly could have a lower price. After all 350 Rupees for just four small balls of Ricotta may seem fine-dining but not really appetizing as an appetizer. We then shall come to the Garlic Bread, or should I say, Garlic Breads? Yes, you heard it right. Perhaps, there was a mix-up of orders or miswritten order notes, and we got Jalapeno and Caramelised onions Garlic Bread instead of what we ordered. When we asked about it. They saw their mistake and let us have the garlic bread for free and then later brought us the actual Garlic Bread we ordered for. Might I say, that it was a very generous compensation for a small error but I believe, Brik Oven takes it very seriously, to make its customers very happy. The Jalapenos were heavily pickled and it made my mouth water and it was the most robust flavour on the Garlic Bread and I loved it. The caramelized onions were just beautiful, house-made Garlic better that was deeply rich and savoury and the Bread that was just adorable. The first Garlic Bread was brilliant! Coming to the second one, The roasted peppers, the feta, onions, everything gave us symphony on a plate. That garlic bread indeed was a triumph amongst many others on the menu. It was just utter delight. We shall now, come to the Pizza and we have ordered Margharita 2.0, regular size, since we were peaking to our maximum stomach capacity. But we got the medium size, we didn't call out for it, cause pizza is pizza, but also gave us a hard time digesting. But speaking of the taste, it's a winner. The exquisite tomato sauce, the stringy mozzarella and salty parmesan cheeses, the fresh basil, the crunchy, chewy and smoky crust, the perfectly fermented bread, it might be the dish of our entire experience. It was magically juicy and was made all the very better by the accompaniments of Rosemary Chilli Oil, Chilli Flakes and seasonings. My only desire would be that if the menu card had burrata as an add on or if the burrata on our pizza was just slightly bigger. All in all, I'd give 5 stars for the food, the service does deserve well over 4 stars, however, the mix-ups and confusion could be minimised and the price of some dishes could be made a little lesser since they seemed just not worth it. At the end of the day, this place deserves a big thumbs-up, and is truly worth the meal. It's great for dates and family times and it certainly deserves a top spot in the world of proper Italian food made in India. I shall be back for more since this place has spoilt my cravings of a pizza and in my opinion, it shall truly hold its reputation and taste in the...

Beverages:
Brik Oven Lemonade - This beverage is their in house special. The Lemonade was sweet and perfect for the hot Bengaluru weather. The Hangover Shake - The name says it all! Once you drink this, you will feel like you are intoxicated because the shake is so filling. The list of ingredients will make you feel dizzy. It contained Granola, Banana, Strawberries, Ice Cream and Whipped Cream. This shake would be better off as a dessert than as a beverage.
Appetizer:
Garlic Bread with Cheese - Cheese is an ingredient we all love, so what better appetizer to order than two plates of the ooey gooey goodness. Actually, it looked more like breadsticks than bread. One portion is sufficient for two people. The breadsticks were neatly arranged on a wooden tray. The right proportion of olive oil, garlic, butter and cheese made this dish an extremely delicious one. It was so soft that the pieces just melted in our mouth.
Main Course:
Anna Goes Vegan - we ordered this particular pizza. Just by reading the description, my mouth started to water. The toppings included: San Marzano Sauce, Red Onions, Red Bell Peppers, Jalapeno, Vegan Mozzarella, Sun Dried Tomatoes, Garlic and Vegan Feta. I have never tried a Vegan Pizza before but must say it was flavorsome. The base was neither too thin nor thick, the toppings were crispy and fresh and the Vegan Feta was dripping here and there since it was so bubbly. I would definitely recommend this Pizza.
This is my 1st Brik Oven's outlets experience, so they were aware of the quality and quantity of the food. The ambiance was pleasant and the service was quick in spite of all tables...
