Review of Cafe Amudham, Jayanagar:

My recent experience at Cafe Amudham in Jayanagar left me deeply disappointed and concerned for the safety of their patrons. Upon ordering the Meals and Vada, I was shocked to discover approximately 10 stapler pins embedded within the food. This egregious oversight is not only unsanitary but also poses a serious risk to customers' health. Finding foreign objects like stapler pins in a dish is completely unacceptable and raises serious questions about the restaurant's hygiene and food handling practices.

Furthermore, the misrepresentation of their menu offerings adds insult to injury. While the menu states that Roti comes with two types of chutney and two types of sambar, the reality couldn't be further from the truth. Instead of delivering what is promised, Cafe Amudham opted to serve two portions of green chutney and one portion of red chutney, completely omitting the sambar altogether. This deliberate deception amounts to false advertising and is a disservice to customers who rightfully expect to receive what they've paid for.

It's evident that Cafe Amudham is more focused on cutting corners and maximizing profits than prioritizing the satisfaction and safety of their patrons. Such deceitful practices not only erode trust but also jeopardize the well-being of diners. I urge the management to take immediate corrective action, address these alarming issues, and implement stringent quality control measures to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. Hey! Recently visited cafe amudham to try some authentic South Indian breakfast and this place is surely a must try for its impeccable quality and amazing authentic taste. This place has a beautiful ambience and is open from early morning till 1am in the night!!!! Serving their iconic dishes.

We started with the ghee podi idli which was a soft idli draped in ghee and podi spread on top making this combination a must try. It was so amazing and is served with 3 types of chutney. We also tried their button idli dipped in a bowl full of hot flavourful sambar. The sambar was really tasty and i loved it. My clear favourite was their dosas and especially the ghee podi dosa. Their dosas are filling and extremely tasty! Each dosa is topped with generous amount of ghee ,roasted perfectly and served with 3 types of chutney.

Next i tried the open butter masala dosa . This is a fluffy dosa served with aloo palya on top and a dollop of butter and veggies. Later we tried the garlic roast which had a garlic paste spread across a dosa dripping with ghee. We then tried the bisi bele bath and the poori sagu and finally ended with a hot cup of badam milk and coffee. I really loved the badam milk.
