Café Noir in Indira Nagar, Bangalore is a charming French-style café that offers a cozy and welcoming atmosphere to its patrons. From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the aroma of freshly baked croissants, the clink of silverware against plates, and the buzz of happy conversation.

One of the first things that stands out about Café Noir is its decor. The café is adorned with intricate wrought-iron tables and chairs, ornate mirrors, and elegant chandeliers, which all add to its old-world charm. The space is filled with natural light during the day, which makes it the perfect spot for a relaxed brunch or a mid-afternoon coffee break.

The menu at Café Noir is extensive, with a wide range of French-inspired dishes to choose from. From classic breakfast options like croissants and baguettes to heartier dishes like quiches and savory crepes, there's something for everyone. The café also has an impressive selection of pastries and desserts, including macarons, eclairs, and tarts, which are perfect for satisfying your sweet tooth.

One of the standout dishes at Café Noir is their French onion soup. Served piping hot in a traditional crock, the soup is rich, hearty, and packed with flavor. Another must-try is their salmon benedict, which is a twist on the classic eggs benedict. The salmon is cooked to perfection and the hollandaise sauce is rich and creamy.

For those looking for something lighter, the café offers a variety of salads and sandwiches, including a delicious goat cheese and honey sandwich that's sure to please. And if you're looking for a caffeine fix, the café serves up a mean cappuccino, which pairs perfectly with one of their signature pastries.

Overall, Café Noir in Indira Nagar, Bangalore is a fantastic spot for anyone looking for a cozy and welcoming café experience. The décor, menu, and atmosphere all come together to create a truly authentic French experience. Whether you're in the mood for a leisurely brunch, a mid-afternoon coffee, or a sweet treat, Café Noir is sure to please. Highly...

Went here today for a late lunch with my wife, 2 month old daughter and sister in law. After an exhausting first half Sunday, we were famished when we got here. One word review - HORRIBLE. They call themselves a casual French dining, however the menu is a complete mess of world cuisine. Having crepe’s on your menu doesn’t make you a French restaurant. Table not laid properly. When asked for proper cutlery, waiting staff just comes and plonks it as if it’s meant for the diners to arrange themselves. Poor start. Getting to our order : Chicken wings - (came in a jerk sauce). Firstly, NOT FRENCH. Secondly dousing your sauce in cinnamon doesn’t make it Jamaican cuisine. Truffle Parmesan fries - potatoes fried to a cinder, dripping with grease with a countable 15 shavings of Parmesan and no sign of truffle. Got to the table in a basket without lining causing the table to get dirty with oil. Mezze platter - (again, Greek and middle eastern cuisine) babaganoush kept in a bowl in the fridge since god knows when. Beet root hummus was the ONLY palatable thing we ate. Pesto Pasta - (Italian cuisine). Bright green pesto always worries me. Definitely no pine nuts in there. Served clumsily with 3 small pieces of mozzarella cheese and 4 quarters of a wilted cherry tomato. Poor pesto cream at best. Steak tenderloin sandwich (Fine, I’ll give it to you, atleast something French on the menu) - and the worst of the lot. Stale old grilled bread. Store bought mayo spread on it. No onions no pickles as mentioned in the menu description. Sad raw tomato slices and a leaf of salad greens. Kindly go back to culinary school to learn again what a steak is. Horribly thinly sliced meat over cooked to rubber when specifically asked for a medium cook. Massive block of bread miserly served with 4 thin bite sized ‘Steak’ pieces. Too tired already to write about the drink order and the dirty soiled way of serving it.

Diners, I can just caution you. It’s not worth your hard earned money at all. Haven’t had worse food in a single...

Café Noir exceeded all expectations during my recent visit, earning a well-deserved 5-star rating. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance exuded warmth and sophistication, setting the stage for an exceptional dining experience. Now, let's talk about the highlights:

Hot Chocolate: The hot chocolate at Café Noir Bangalore is a true delight! It's rich, creamy, and the perfect way to warm up on a chilly day. The balance of sweetness and cocoa flavor is spot on. I could savor every sip, and it left me craving for more.

Cold Coffee: The cold coffee here is a refreshing masterpiece! It's smooth, frothy, and has just the right amount of coffee kick. The presentation is impeccable, and it's an ideal choice for a caffeine boost with a touch of elegance.

The Ultimate Rooster Burger: The Ultimate Rooster Burger lives up to its name in every way! The burger is a glorious combination of juicy, well-seasoned chicken patty, fresh veggies, and a special sauce that elevates the taste to another level. The portion size is generous, making it a satisfying meal on its own.

Pollo Affumicato Pizza: The Pollo Affumicato Pizza at Café Noir is a true masterpiece for pizza lovers! The thin crust is perfectly crisp, and the toppings, especially the smoked chicken, create a delightful smoky flavor. Each bite bursts with flavor, making it a must-try for pizza aficionados.

Café Noir Bangalore never fails to impress with its exceptional food and cozy ambiance. Whether you're looking for a quick coffee fix or a hearty meal, this place has it all. The service is top-notch, and the attention to detail in every dish is truly commendable. A 5-star...

We arrived at the restaurant around 9:20 PM, and the first impression itself was disappointing. Most tables were covered with stacks of tissue papers, chilli flakes bottles, and pantry items. Some tables were being used as storage, and there were even food items scattered on the floor. We ordered the lamb on pita and a pizza. As seen in the photo, the lamb was completely raw and undercooked from the inside. While the pizza looked good, it tasted stale and the chicken had a foul smell. The overall cleanliness was unacceptable. Cockroaches were crawling on the floor, and the tables around us were never cleaned, still holding leftovers from previous diners throughout our meal. The staff behavior was equally concerning. The waiter attending to us spoke loudly, seemed intoxicated, and was sliding and running around the restaurant when we asked for seasonings. Another person in what looked like a chef’s coat was taking videos of the restaurant, laughing and giggling the whole time. There also seemed to be an argument between the waiters, and another individual, possibly a manager in plain clothes, did nothing to control the situation. When we were finally the only customers left, the atmosphere turned eerie, and we decided to leave. Even getting the bill and parcel was chaotic, the bill folder was sticky and dirty, and to top it off, they gave us the wrong parcel (it belonged to another table). For two items, we paid ₹1,700, and this is the kind of service we received. The management seriously needs to look into the staff and hygiene practices at this place before serving customers again.

Minimalistic and elegant ambience, good French cuisine, and friendly staff make this place a peaceful one to dine at! Food: Has many well-known French delicacies. I tried their Pate Berliner, Torched Salmon Ceviche, Asparagus Egg Truffle (poached egg and truffle pate but couldn't really spot any truffle), French Omelette (softer and more creamy), Coq Au Vin, Truffle Mushroom Crepe, Baked Alaska, Rose and Mango Entremet, Ratatouille, Charcuterie. Pate Berliner: This one is quite an interesting one. Kind of like a burger filled with truffle infused chicken liver pate. Nice and smooth filling, I wasn't expecting that from chicken liver. Torched Salmon Ceviche: A South American salad with salmon and lime dressing. Charcuterie: Types of smoked or cured pork. Looks raw but I guess it isn't the case. Ratatouille: Just some veggies and sauce. Note that this is not the fancy version as seen in Pixar's Ratatouille. Coq Au Vin: This is possible the best and the most comforting dish here! A satisfying stew with red wine. Baked Alaska: A beautiful layered dessert with cake and ice cream and burnt meringue. Also has some hint of possibly rum. Rose and Mango Entremet: Another beautiful layered dessert with tart shell. Ambience: Quite minimalistic and clean. Peaceful. Service: Very friendly staff. No problem at all. Overall, a really good place to try out some French cuisine and wine. With the 50% off EazyDiner offer that is running at the time of writing this, it is definitely worth the money!
