Read moreWent here today for a late lunch with my wife, 2 month old daughter and sister in law. After an exhausting first half Sunday, we were famished when we got here. One word review - HORRIBLE. They call themselves a casual French dining, however the menu is a complete mess of world cuisine. Having crepe’s on your menu doesn’t make you a French restaurant. Table not laid properly. When asked for proper cutlery, waiting staff just comes and plonks it as if it’s meant for the diners to arrange themselves. Poor start. Getting to our order : Chicken wings - (came in a jerk sauce). Firstly, NOT FRENCH. Secondly dousing your sauce in cinnamon doesn’t make it Jamaican cuisine. Truffle Parmesan fries - potatoes fried to a cinder, dripping with grease with a countable 15 shavings of Parmesan and no sign of truffle. Got to the table in a basket without lining causing the table to get dirty with oil. Mezze platter - (again, Greek and middle eastern cuisine) babaganoush kept in a bowl in the fridge since god knows when. Beet root hummus was the ONLY palatable thing we ate. Pesto Pasta - (Italian cuisine). Bright green pesto always worries me. Definitely no pine nuts in there. Served clumsily with 3 small pieces of mozzarella cheese and 4 quarters of a wilted cherry tomato. Poor pesto cream at best. Steak tenderloin sandwich (Fine, I’ll give it to you, atleast something French on the menu) - and the worst of the lot. Stale old grilled bread. Store bought mayo spread on it. No onions no pickles as mentioned in the menu description. Sad raw tomato slices and a leaf of salad greens. Kindly go back to culinary school to learn again what a steak is. Horribly thinly sliced meat over cooked to rubber when specifically asked for a medium cook. Massive block of bread miserly served with 4 thin bite sized ‘Steak’ pieces. Too tired already to write about the drink order and the dirty soiled way of serving it.
Diners, I can just caution you. It’s not worth your hard earned money at all. Haven’t had worse food in a single...
