Chai Point - Marathahalli — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I ordered among other things one coconut cream bun for takeaway assuming that I didnt have to recheck the packed items after I drove away. But when I eventually opened the sealed takeaway packet, the bun was nowhere to be found. I stay quite a long distance away from the outlet n I cannot just drive back to the cafe only for a bun. This experience ended up ruining my entire evening given that the coconut cream bun happens to be my most favourite item in the menu and I was eagerly looking forward to having it. This was a bad experience in not having an item packed after I have already paid for it.

Update: No resolution yet after I have provided my details as requested below, forget about swift! Not that I am fixated on getting the bun delivered to my address or for a refund which I actually should be, but just adding this piece now so that others know the quality of service and customer care in this outlet. I guess about time I started looking for alternatives...

Had gone for a tea in the morning, and it was afternoon by the time I received the order. When I went at the counter, the guy suggested me to order via their app as there were offers running, and I did as he said. I was waiting for the order and people who came after me got their order, but I didn't. I still waited as there was swiggy and zomato guys coming over and I thought they must be busy. However almost an hour had passed, and since I was with my mother we didn't realize the time. I went upto the counter and he hadn't even seen the order that I had placed, after that he again took 20 minutes to prepare. To my surprise, he messed up the order as well. Instead of w/o milk, he got with milk and when asked not to add sugar, he still added. The egg puff was another scam, one big piece of tomato in the name of masala. Pathetic service and terrible...

1. Contactless order can be placed by the scanner available in WhatsApp

2. The seating was comfortable and the shop had many other varieties to offer, including snacks that go well with tea.

3. It is open 23 hours, closed 5 am to 6 am

4. Staff was fab, courteous and polite..

What could have been better

1. Not everything on the menu was available,

2. I had ginger tea, it was just the right temperature to have immediately... a little hotter would have made the experiance a little bit more warmer 😀

Medium size would suffice, 25 rs for the chai 55 for experiance ! Overall you will step out peppy, as the quality of tea is good Enjoy...
