Read moreThis is a German themed microbrewery pub... and they do a great job at that. And the food is excellent! This place has something for everyone. The food and beverages are diverse, with items from multiple cuisines. There's a decent selection of food and drinks for vegetarians and teetotalers too. The ambience is large, spacious, with different seating choices... chairs, couches or tall bar stools. They have both indoor and outdoor seating. My favourite food item so far is the chicken drumsticks that comes with the Assamese Ghost chilly sauce.. Man, it is HOT l!!! (and I'm a chilli freak!) and super delicious! CAUTION! I recommend this dish only for seriously competitive chilli eaters.. For the general public it would be drumsticks to literally "die for". I think it's my duty to make this warning.
Thats the only chicken drumsticks they have. I request the admin to include a simple mild drumsticks items.
I love their citrus and greens salad with feta cheese... there's something caramel-ly in the dressing. Some of the food I have tasted there so far include mushroom risotto, cottage cheese steak (a grilled sandwich filled with mixture of cottage cheese and spinach), and Chipotle veg burger. The burger bun was toasted just right, and had a nice chewy texture and that is a huge plus point for me when I have a burger. The Long Island ice tea had the right amount of alcohol, not too strong neither too mild. The House Lager is great. The cocktails I had are delicious. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants to have a relaxed evening. The music can be a little loud. Choose your seat accordingly. Edit: 5th or 6th visit. Buffalo wings was good. The pieces were huge, tender and succulent. Loved the 'blue cheese' dip that came with it. I'm not a big fan of sweet barbeque sauce with which the wings were slathered, but it was smoky and that added a nice touch to the flavour. Four cheese pizza, Thai green curry, spaghetti aglio olio were all good. Crispy fried lotus stem in garlic chips was very good as starter.
Edit: Ok... I have lost count how many times I have come here. Had Pindi chhole with onion stuffed roti today. It's better than the chhole in most good Punjabi restaurants! The chef here needs some serious...
Read moreWe visited this place on a Saturday evening and opted for a seat in the non smoking area near the bar counter, where the seats were still available in good numbers. The ambience is dim lit and okayish. The service was good but one thing to note is that they levy service charge of 10percent which is mentioned at the entrance. Since the prices of food items on the menu are already on the higher side, it would be great if they remove this.
At the time of making the payment via swiggy dineout (which provided 10percent additional discount) when i asked them to remove the service charge , the manager walked up to us and advised that since they mentioned at the entrance up front about the same, they can reduce it to 5 percent max.
The service staff attending to us was well mannered but seemed to lack the knowledge of what's best in the menu. We asked him to suggest the best starter in chicken and he was unable to as he was unaware. We ended up ordering bullet chicken which contained peanuts, and chillies and had 8-9 pieces in it. The taste however was totally not up to the mark and cost almost 300 rupees.
As far as drinks are concerned, we ordered mango punch and fruit punch out of which fruit punch was better but mango drink was not at all.
We went ahead to the main course section, and ordered butter nan and chicken masala(containing 4-5 pieces). Butter nan was not soft but thick, and cost around 95 rupees per piece (which contained 2-3 pieces in each). The chicken masala was good though.
Considering the food taste, i would say the prices are a bit on the higher side here. Maybe the alcoholic drinks are better here but we did not get a chance...
