Dot yum is the multicuisine (not sure) restaurant of the Aloft hotel. The buffet for breakfast and the dinner are really nice by its spread of menu, taste and presentation. You can enjoy authentic north Indian food with south Indian sides and east indian or bengali sweets. Popping up of missal or rajasthani and gujrati snacks makes it a complete nations food integrity.
The vegetarian and even jain dishes are very lovely in taste with a perfect blend of ingredients and spices. The aroma of spices in the paneer butter masala that I ordered reminded me of the aroma of some home made spices those we experience during our childhood in the marathi neighborhood. Read moreWent for dine in during lunch hours (1 PM) and found the restaurant deserted with a huge group of people smoking at the entrance. The restaurant had just 1 staff who was busy deep cleaning the space - Though he was courteous enough to check on us and let us know that we could occupy a table and order "something" - I was also told that the restaurant is not on full service mode today.
For such a reputed name like Aloft, it was a little unbecoming to operate their restaurant in this state. If anything they should be ashamed of such inappropriate ambience for their guests.
