After a few colleagues couldn't stop talking about this Arabian sweet dessert, I was eager to try it out, it's called the Knafeh and also as Kunafa.
It's a round hot spun pastry called the "Kataifi" which is close to our own "Pheni". Its layered with cream or cheese and we get a cup of sugar syrup along with it, we need to pour it on top and let it soak for a few seconds and then start to taste, topped with grated pistachios, it tastes heavenly.
We have a few outlets here in Bangalore, if desserts are your thing, then please do try it out once. We went to the New Bel Road outlet, it's on the 80 ft road.
They take around 10 to 12 minutes to serve it to you hot, the staff were cordial.
We had the Classic Cream Kunafa and the Assorted Mini Kunafa, both were good!
Thank you for reading...

Kunafa.. it's an Arabian dish. A freshly cooked, mildly sweet, hot dessert that just melts your heart everytime you take a bite!
This place is really elegant and the staff are super friendly and courteous.
The dessert options are limited to a few different flavours of Kunafa, but you don't get anything to complain about!
Clean and hygienic cooking, the staff follow covid protocols.
Tasty food, and affordable pricing. What more can you ask?
Kunafa.. if you haven't tried it yet, you are missing out on one of the best desserts...
Read moreI had been craving kunafas since the longest time. So when I happened across the Bel road branch of Kunafa world my happiness knew no bounds. It's amazing that such a unique and wonderful dish has a dedicated cafe to it. We dropped in today not knowing that the store wasn't open yet. The owners were extremely warm to us and offered a trial of their Nutella mini cone kunafas. One bite and I was in love. It was everything that I had eaten back in Dubai. Cheesy, crispy, gooey, sweet and warm. I'll definitely be coming back to try all the items...
