Maiz Mexican Kitchen | Indiranagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

My friend and I recently visited Maiz Mexican Kitchen on 12th Main Road and it was an amazing experience. My friend is a vegetarian but he was happy with the choices available in the menu. I ordered the Chipotle Chicken Burrito Bowl with Guac and he ordered the Chipotle Paneer Burrito Wrap with Guac. They were both fresh, delicious and reminded me very closely of Chipotle in America (minus the fast food unhealthy feeling). The quantity was also vastly sufficient for an entreé. I highly recommend adding the guacamole as an extra because it truly enhances your meal. Surprisingly, we had space for more and ordered a plate of Chilli Cheese Cali Quasadillas and Churros to share. They were also delicious. We finished our entire meal with our plates spick and span in just under an hour! One thing I really appreciate about this place is that everything is made to order so what you get on the plate is fresh vegetables (fajita ftw), soft and juicy protein and great quality of dips and sauces (tomato salsa, sour cream and the guac were just chef’s kiss). Even the churros felt like they were right out of the fryer and chocolate dip was so creamy and rich.

10/10 recommend to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price. Our total bill came up to a very decent 1.5k and it was worth every penny and more. Good job, Maiz! We’ll be coming in again for sure. 👍🏼

I ordered a chipotle chicken bowl from your restaurant on a rainy day, and the delivery was almost an hour late. While the weather was unfavorable, I was truly astonished when I opened the package. The food was beautifully packed, with no mess, showcasing your excellent packaging standards. I greatly appreciate this attention to detail. I also noticed a note thanking me for my order and providing contact information for any issues. This confidence in your service is commendable. The food was amazing, though I haven’t visited your restaurant in person to experience your hospitality, I’m confident it would be exceptional. Regarding the chipotle chicken bowl, it was delicious, but the salsa sauce was slightly tangy. If you could reduce the tanginess, it would enhance the experience. Additionally, the chipotle chicken lacked a bit of flavor. If you could make it more flavorful while keeping it healthy, that would be fantastic. The ingredients seemed very fresh, and you’re doing an excellent job, especially since you have limited competition for Mexican food in Bangalore. Your main competitor is a big player, yet you’re holding your own. Your packaging material and handling are fantastic, and it’s clear you take great care in this aspect. Maize Mexican Kitchen has opened its first flagship store in Indiranagar, and their mission is simple—serving fresher, healthier, and high-quality Mexican food.I started with their Chicken Burrito Bowl and Mushroom Quesadillas, both bursting with bold, vibrant flavors. The burrito bowl was hearty, well-balanced, and packed with fresh ingredients, while the quesadillas had the perfect cheesy, umami-packed bite. Next, I tried their Herbed Paneer Soft Shell Tacos, and honestly, the first bite was a symphony of flavors and textures! 🌯✨ One of the highlights of Maize is their open kitchen, where you can see your food being made with the freshest ingredients.

For dessert, don’t miss their churros! They were perfectly crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and dusted with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. 🤤
