Extremely Disappointed – Worst Experience Repeated at Empire Indiranagar Branch
This is the second time I’ve had a very bad experience at the Empire Restaurant – Indiranagar Branch, and I’ve reached a point where this needs to be called out publicly.
I ordered Alfaham Chicken (Quarter) and was shocked at the portion size. What was served to me looked like not even 100 grams — absolutely unacceptable for what is supposed to be a quarter portion. When I raised this with the captain, he openly admitted the size was very small and even said, “Yes sir, I’ve informed the kitchen team already, but they keep doing this.” — What kind of response is that from a reputed restaurant?
And to make things worse, the manager walked in and spoke to me rudely, asking “What happened?” in a tone that was aggressive and completely disrespectful. His body language and expression were as if I was the one causing a problem. This isn’t the first time he’s behaved like this. The last time I complained, this very same manager called me personally and requested me to remove the review, saying it will affect the restaurant’s growth, and even tried to compensate with complimentary food next time.
Are we writing reviews just to get free food? No. We write them to improve service. But clearly, nothing has changed. Instead, the staff, especially this manager, have gotten worse.
Yesterday, again, in front of everyone, the manager just told the staff to give me “some extra piece” in a tone that made me feel embarrassed and insulted as a paying customer. This is not how any customer deserves to be treated — especially one who is giving genuine feedback.
To the head management or CEO of Empire Group – this review is for you. Please take immediate action. Customers are not fools. You cannot serve miniature portions, call it “quarter”, and expect us to stay quiet. People pay their hard-earned money to eat a proper meal — not to be served scraps and then disrespected for complaining.
This manager in the Indiranagar branch seriously needs to be replaced. His behavior is unprofessional, rude, and damaging to the Empire brand. If this is how your regular customers are treated, don’t expect people to return.
Improve your portion sizes. Fix your staff's attitude. Especially fix your manager. If not, people will stop trusting the name...
Read moreI recently visited Empire Restaurant in Indiranagar and had a mixed experience overall. While there were some positive aspects, there were also a few areas that could use improvement.
Firstly, the ambiance of the restaurant was quite pleasant. The seating arrangement was comfortable, and the decor had a modern touch. It created a welcoming atmosphere for diners. The staff was polite and attentive, ensuring that our needs were met throughout the evening.
Moving on to the food, it was decent but not exceptional. The menu offered a wide range of options, but the execution fell a bit short. Some dishes lacked the authentic flavors we were expecting, while others were overly greasy. The portion sizes were generous, but the taste didn't quite match up. However, the restaurant did offer a few standout dishes that were flavorful and enjoyable.
On the service front, although the staff was attentive, the overall speed of service was inconsistent. There were instances when we had to wait longer than expected for our orders to arrive. This led to a slight inconvenience and affected the overall dining experience.
Another area that needs improvement is the cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant. The tables and floors could have been cleaner, and the overall hygiene standards could be raised. This aspect left a slightly negative impression and impacted our overall perception of the establishment.
Lastly, the pricing seemed reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. However, given the competition in the area, I would have expected a more exceptional experience for the price paid.
In conclusion, Empire Restaurant in Indiranagar offers a decent dining experience with a comfortable ambiance and attentive staff. However, there is room for improvement in terms of food quality, service speed, and cleanliness. With some fine-tuning, this place has the potential to become a top-notch establishment that fully lives up to...

I recently had a deeply unsettling experience now from empire where I ordered grilled chicken. What I expected to be a pleasant meal turned into a distressing ordeal, raising serious concerns about the restaurant's hygiene and food safety standards. Upon receiving my grilled chicken, the first thing I noticed was an unusual, unpleasant smell. When I took the first bite, the chicken tasted off, indicating that it was likely old and not fresh. The texture was also peculiar, more rubbery than tender, which is not what one would expect from a properly cooked piece of grilled chicken. The odd taste and texture made me suspicious about the quality and freshness of the meat being used. As I continued to inspect the chicken, to my absolute horror, I found a dead worm inside one of the pieces. This was not only revolting but also alarming, as it signifies a severe lapse in the restaurant’s food preparation and inspection processes. The presence of a worm suggests that the meat was either contaminated before cooking or that it had not been stored properly, allowing for such contamination to occur.
My experience at Empire was extremely disappointing and concerning. The presence of old, odd-tasting chicken coupled with the shocking discovery of a dead worm highlights severe deficiencies in the restaurant's food safety protocols. I urge potential customers to be cautious and recommend that the restaurant undergo a thorough inspection and overhaul of its hygiene and food safety practices. Serving contaminated food is not only unacceptable but also dangerous, and immediate action is required to rectify these issues.
I cannot believe your standards are this low and pathetic and un hygienic.. You guys should be shut down..Never Ordering from any of your outlets...
