Matteo Coffea — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Till today dated 21 Jan 2021 I had some amazing pasr experience but ,came all the way from yeleahanka just to spend time with my fiance ,and this cafe did not let me sit upstairs as it was totally empty and the customer service guy said he won't let us sit upstairs

because its allowed only on saturday and sundays which is a lie because I have come on week days and weekends ,and again when I asked him he said its not cleaned ,I have a photo of it how clean is it upstairs I have attached the photo down ,I don't know why they are lying about all this which doesn't matter even matter also they said less staff ,I told I will take my own mug or glass with me still they did not let me go upstairs

People coming here just remember one thing its very noisy down and they don't let you go upstairs ,they don't care about customer happiness ,

Also this is my personal experience I hope they change this type of thing in future ,manager or founder if you are seeing it just reply to this message I...

I absolutely loved the décor and seating of this café. If you are a fan of the Matrix, you will love the couches – you can take a seat and decide which pill you want to consume. The air conditioning can be much better, it didn’t seem enough for the size of the restaurant.

All we wanted to have was the Blueberry Cheesecake, which was highly recommended by my friend. I loved that the cheesecake was topped with plenty of blueberry compote. The cheesecake itself was heavy and airy. The compote and cheesecake went perfectly with each other. I wasn’t a fan of the buttery gram cracker base – it was a little bit on the harder side. It could have been slightly softer.

Service was decent. There are enough servers even during rush hour. Once you are done, you can even pay at the register instead of waiting around for someone to collect your bill.

When I walked down the road wondering if I should go to Third Wave Coffee Roasters or Matteo Coffee, I was truly confused. I had never tried Matteo. I quickly checked ratings and it was good. I was still apprehensive as the outlet seemed empty. Only one couple were seated. It was a tired day and I again hesitated to order. I was not too hungry to eat there but was not sure of taking away coffee, still I placed an order for a chicken burger and cappuccino. Then I asked them to make it dine-in. The staff at the counter was extremely patient and with a smile agreed. The order arrived pretty soon even if they mentioned that the burger will take time. The coffee arrived first. A sip and I was on cloud 9. It was better than my expectations. Burger was soft and a huge one too. I had to stuff myself with it as I was not too hungry. The bill arrived and I felt the prices were truly reasonable (they are mentioned on the menu board too). Exited as a happy customer after...
