I visited Tiger Tiger Brewhouse on the evening of 23rd Dec 2022. My husband and I were dancing when their photographer (Ritesh) passed by me while inappropriately sliding his hand on my back. His touch was absolutely inappropriate, indecent, and intentional, one that left this yucky lingering feeling that I can’t wrap my head around. I immediately tapped his back and when he turned around, we recognized him. I told him that I did notice that he had touched me inappropriately, to which he obviously said “no”.

We came back to our table and complained to the Tiger Tiger staff. They said that he has been working with them for quite some time, and that they had never heard any complaint about him, indicating that it means he is innocent. Our simple ask was that they fire the guy, so he at least learns to not do this again to any other person. They called the photographer, and he kept insisting that the incident was not intentional. Tiger Tiger management did not do anything about it.

We decided to leave a few minutes later, at which point Tiger Tiger’s manager (Ranga) started shouting at us. When we asked to fire the guy, these were the reactions of Tiger Tiger staff:

We know the way “you” were dancing, indicating that I invited such behavior, so I was at fault. “He” is saying that he did not do anything, indicating that I am lying, and Tiger Tiger was choosing to trust him. Ranga shouted at us insisting that we were doing this so we won’t have to pay the bill, which we duly paid to ensure they understand that this was not about the money. It was about sexual harassment. But they didn't understand even then.

Tiger Tiger management was extremely rude, and completely defensive about the photographer, not at all concerned with our complaint, or the fact that a customer had experienced sexual harassment in their property. We waited for a long time insisting that they call the photographer downstairs, to which they said he is upstairs still clicking photographs. Later they said that he is gone and not in the pub anymore.

Understanding that Tiger Tiger management was not going to take any action, we left the place.

We visited Gladia Brewery & Kitchen on a Saturday afternoon for lunch with friends, and it turned out to be a vibrant and enjoyable experience. The place had a great weekend buzz without being overwhelmingly loud, making it ideal for conversations and catching up over good food.

We tried a wide variety of dishes, and the overall food quality was impressive. The crispy avocado sushi was a pleasant surprise—fresh, crunchy, and well-balanced in flavor. The mushroom and water chestnut dim sums were delicate and flavorful, with a nice textural contrast.

The Mexican skewers were colorful and spicy, adding a fun twist to the table, while the local chicken kebab was perfectly cooked, juicy, and had a subtle smoky flavor. The beer batter onion rings were golden and crunchy, just as they should be, and made a great snack to go with our drinks.

Among the mains, the palak roti paired nicely with the rich, creamy paneer pasandha, which had a comforting, mildly spiced gravy. It was clear that both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options were given equal attention in the kitchen.

We didn’t try the drinks this time, but the drinks menu looked extensive and well-curated. We’ll definitely be back for a tasting flight on our next visit.

The desserts were a highlight. The coffee chocolate bar was indulgent with just the right bitterness from the coffee and a smooth chocolate finish. The bitter chocolate fantasy lived up to its name—rich, intense, and beautifully plated. But wasn’t quite happy with deserts as few of them we asked weren’t available and the ones we got were not as great as expected. Overall not bad.

The staff was attentive and courteous, checking in at the right moments and offering helpful suggestions. The service pace was relaxed but not slow, which suited a leisurely lunch. The interiors were modern yet cozy, and the space was well-maintained, including clean restrooms.

A few dishes could’ve used slightly more seasoning or a touch more finesse, but overall, it was a delicious and satisfying meal.
