A little bit of history
This used to be a small family business, which is now scaled to greater heights from the last 25 years or so.
This was a humble start by a punjabi aunty and his son( Rishi), in a small shop on the road that leads to Sanjay nagar, just opposite the present shop.
They used to sell parathas, samosa's, few snacks and we're customer centric and ensured built this awesome empire with sweat and blood.
Over a period of time, this place got really popular and move into a larger capacity where they had sitting arrangement for many customers, which attracted many customers, including college 🎓 goers and families.
They have wide range of parathas, snacks, ghee dipped sweets, which they are mainly popular for and have maintained the authentic North Indian style of this delicacy. They have a signature "Tiranga" Paratha which is quite famous.
The ambience is friendly and you can find families and kids having variety of food here. This place can be busy on the weekends especially during breakfast time Since people order online or visit the shop physically to have hot streaming parathas.
A lot of celebrities including the great comedian Kapil Sharma from the Indian entertainment industry has stepped in during their visit to...
Read moreThis was the worst experience I ever encountered at any hotel. I had been to this restaurant once or twice before. Today on 08-05-2016 at 2.15 PM, for our bad luck owner of the restaurant was not there. Just because we asked for what is the ingredient in Alloo Parantha, cashier and servers denied to serve until we paid for food in the second service. They deliberately made us get up every now and then for the next service required. They lied it as instruction from their owner and in front of us they were serving others. This is the most unethical business practice I ever encountered. Though we can understand that the owner was not there in the restaurant, I felt this feedback will be of great help to the management. I had come with two of my colleagues and was a great insult for me, and we had to leave the place without finishing our lunch. I have attached a pic of this cashier, who was so generous, in dealing with...
Read moreOne of my top five veg restaurants which I can visit any time. I am their customer since 2003 when they had two small rooms, one to cook and second for customers. As customers increased, started to have makeshift seating outside. Later acquired the current place and their business has flourished. Few years back the price went up and the quality other way. Didn't visit for a year or so. Started visiting again some five yeras ago as their glory was back. Today's visit made me remove one star as the price had gone up and the quality is taking a dip. The 3M took was mostly matar but very less methi and malai. The Peanut twister has sparing amount of peanut and the taste was dominated by red chilli and garlic slices! For few years the curd was charged, not now, thankfully. Please don't cut on the fillings/stuffing of parathas, otherwise increase in price will be...
