Freskka Cafe Pizzeria Restaurant — Restaurant in Bengaluru

Ambiance: -Indoor and outdoor seating available. -Wooden and cushion(comfy) seating, framed photos of vegetables and food items hung on walls, spacious. -Parking space available right outside the cafe.

Service: -Waiters explain us clearly when asked about food, thus helping us decide on what to order:) -Took ~10 minutes to get what we ordered

Food: -Bruschettas: ordered this as we wanted to try something new without sticking to potato ones :P I had come here on a hot noon, so every bite of this appetizer was a refreshing experience as it had fresh tomatoes binded with cheese and sprinkled with tulsi -- Loved it:) -Moussakka: It had vegetables(zucchini, carrots, corn..etc) in red sauce surrounded by bow tie pasta/farfalle in white sauce. Wouldn't have liked this one if it wasn't for the red sauce. Water served here wasn't fresh and had an odd smell. On requesting, we were given mineral water and charged :/ They were out of cheesecakes by the time we ordered:(

Conclusion: -Worth a visit to hangout with buddies and munch on their decent food. -Not pocket friendly :/ we were charged ~700 just for the above items and we weren't...

We have been to almost every outlet in BEL road and this was remaining. Seeing the Zomato ratings (4) we expected it to be good at least.

As usual we went with Nachos and for a change we took Lasagna.

Nachos were served first; presentation wasn't great and did not appeal us. When we took the 1st bite, we could sense the change in the taste of Cheese. Either it was spoilt or was not fresh. It was served with Salsa sauce which was more like tomato sauce+chopped onion, tomatoes and mixed together. And the other dip was cream or mayonnaise or Molten cheese or whatever they had served was not good as well.

Within few minutes Lasagna was served, we requested them to get it later. It did look good. Taste was just ok. We could sense same cheese was used here too. We could barely finish it as the cheese was not good.

We feel they need a lot of improvements in service as well as food.

I really liked the place. The setting of the restaraunt was looking good. The options available are not very expensive. You could have your dinner along with something to drink and a dessert within 500 at the maximum. The Italian options are costlier than other. The fried rice and noodle are relatively cheap. I was looking for a risotto at lower price for certain time now and finally found it here. The serving was also generous and came along with garlic bread. I also had a green apple mojito which was good. There are American and British options for breakfast like hash browns, bean toast, waffles and pancakes. I look forward to tasting other dishes here.
