After hearing about MH12 through the great Instagram, I went to check this place out! The ambience is very good, and the service is also good! The food part, a very big disappointment! I ordered a plain pav bhaji and a kolhapuri pav bhaji! To my surprise, the taste was good but there was something missing! Then later I realised, the main ingredient for Pav bhaji is potato and guess what Potato was not at all present in the bhaji! This is like you are preparing a paneer item without adding paneer in it! Potato, tomato, and capsicum are 3 main ingredients that must be there in the bhaji, that's MANDATORY! Since I am brought up in Mumbai, i know exactly how the pav bhaji should be! Pav bhaji in this place tastes nothing like Mumbai style pav bhaji! It has to be improved! The best thing I liked was the pav, it was NOT SWEET!! That's a very big plus! I am rating this 1 star because of bhaji! Had a lot of expectations! And i do not get one thing, MH12 has many branches in Maharashtra, i wonder how they prepare!! Just because, anybody can take a franchise and start their restaurant doesn't mean you can actually match the style! It needs experienced cooks who have prepared the exact pav bhaji that is prepared in Mumbai! Frankly speaking, if you want to try then you can go! This place was recommended by a friend and I decided to visit on a Sunday evening. I must admit that I left with a good feeling about the overall experience.

This outlet is set on the top most floor with an open setting & seating capacity for 20 people with a nice ambience. The open terrace on a cloudy monsoon evening with cool breeze made for a pleasant setting.

I tried the Kolhapur Pav Bhaji, Tava Pulav, Paneer Sandwich & the Chocolate Milkshake. The Kolhapuri Pav Bhaji tasted good with sufficient bhaji for another pair of pav. The thava Pulav was bit dry and oily to my liking. Panner Sandwich was good and so was the Chocolate Milkshake. All of this costing 700 rupees which I thought was slightly on the higher side. The service was prompt and quick.

I can’t say if this is the best pav bhaji in Bangalore or how this compares with the authenticity of Maharashtra. But this is certainly a good addition to the Sanjaynagar area. I would definitely recommend this for a small family or friends...
