I give a negative rating very rarely as I understand it affects the business, but this was asking for it
Ordered Bheja fry, gosht seekh kabab, patthar gosht, gosht shami kabab, murgh Al Faham, har dil Azeez gosht biryani large, all portions ordered were large
Bheja - very less portion size and too spicy Patthar gosht- same Gosht shami kabab - the patties were cooked well but it’s not fresh, I guess frozen
Murgh Al Faham - this was horrendous, was expecting one large chicken, instead I got assortment of pieces from multiple chickens and atleast 3 chicken carcass pieces, which are never served anywhere, the smell was stale, chicken was not hot, when i sent it back, the chef sent it back to my table saying this is how Al Faham is made, ( it was not roasted/grilled) no dips or mayonnaise given, there has to be some sense in serving stale food,
Finally the biryani, it came cold, pieces size were small, had to send it back, I think they reheated it in the microwave and sent it back to us,
I am a local here and what they’re doing in the name of serving authentic local Muslim food is totally unacceptable, please attend any wedding in Bangalore to compare, the value for money factor was missing, it doesn’t matter if it’s little on the higher side, but what matters is, everything served was a disappointment,
Also note the glasses plastic ones for water are so old and soiled, I didn’t drink water in them as they looked disgusting.
Service and servers were polite and apologetic with the right etiquette, i don’t blame them,
management owners reading this should have some sense and responsibility of doing justice, there’s empire and Zaitoon right down the street which we have visited multiple times but never felt this disappointed, this is the first and the last visit here, I wonder how this place is still running despite such...
Read moreSharief Bhai has quickly become a favorite for its authentic and incredibly delicious offerings. Our recent visit left us thoroughly impressed, especially with two standout dishes and the excellent service we received.
A Must-Try: The Kheema Samosa If you visit Sharief Bhai, the Kheema Samosa is an absolute must-try! These little pockets of joy are perfectly crispy on the outside, encasing a rich, well-spiced, and succulent kheema filling. Each bite bursts with flavor, making it the perfect appetizer to kick off your meal. It's truly a signature dish that sets them apart.
Chicken Boneless Biryani: Aromatic and Delicious
We also indulged in the Chicken Boneless Biryani, and it did not disappoint. The rice was fragrant and perfectly cooked, with each grain separate and infused with aromatic spices. The chicken pieces were tender, juicy, and, as promised, boneless, making every mouthful a delight. It's a satisfying and hearty portion that delivers on taste.
Exceptional Service from Kamzon(new trainee) and Ganesh
Beyond the fantastic food, the service at Sharief Bhai significantly enhanced our dining experience. Kamzon served our food with a warm smile and ensured we had everything we needed throughout our meal. His attentiveness and polite demeanor were truly commendable. Later, when it was time for the bill, Ganesh assisted us efficiently and politely, making the checkout process smooth and pleasant.
Overall, Sharief Bhai offers a wonderful culinary journey with dishes that truly hit the mark and staff who go the extra mile to make your visit enjoyable. Highly recommended for anyone looking for authentic and delicious Indian cuisine with...
Read moreOur visit to Sherif Bhai Biryani, JP Nagar, turned out to be a regrettable experience. Right from the start, there was a lack of hospitality—no one welcomed us or guided us to a seat. After seating ourselves, we waited for 10 minutes before finally calling a staff member to take our order.
We ordered Chicken Red Chilli Tawa Chops, Mutton Shami Kebab, and Chicken Alfaham Biryani. Unfortunately, the service continued to disappoint. The server, seemingly preoccupied with cleaning tables, took our order verbally but didn’t note it down, leading to repeated confirmations. After waiting an additional 40 minutes, the food finally arrived, but they served Chicken Shami Kebab instead of the Mutton Shami Kebab we ordered.
To make matters worse, the kebab was served with a green chutney that had a sour, off-putting smell. When we raised this concern, the staff insisted it was the “original taste.” We also requested a lemon that never arrived. Despite pointing out the error with the kebab, the correct dish was not served even by the time we finished our meal.
The Chicken Alfaham Biryani itself was mediocre at best—far below expectations for a place that claims to specialize in biryani. Adding insult to injury, the bill included charges for the Mutton Sheek Kebab, which we neither ordered nor ate. After a heated exchange with the billing staff, the charge was finally waived.
Overall, the experience was frustrating, marred by poor service, mismanagement, and average food quality. With so many great biryani places in Bengaluru, Sherif Bhai stands out as an example of how not to run a restaurant. Safe to say, we won’t...
