SANDS OF TIME RESTRO CAFE — Restaurant in Bengaluru

I just left the place and typing this review to my pathetic experience. I went here late night. They are hospitable and service and all is good..then why pathetic ? Cause I inhaled two cockroach legs...that's right you read it right..cockroach legs So while smoking ..I felt something entered first time but I couldnt get it out... Second time again I felt the same thing after few minutes....now there is no light in that place ..so I switched on my phone flashlight...I saw...the leg..... Now when we looked at that pipe....I saw on verge of the filter that cockroach... So basically it was within the pipe or the pot...some how it ended up coming out. M glad I stopped this time to check . otherwise..I'll be having that cockroach inside my stomach.. The owner first was trying to say tat it's flavour..when I could see clearly the organism on the verge of the pipe..

Then he said sorry..we were closed for 12 to 15days so it happened. That's it nothing else Technically he shouldn't have charged for the hookah.... So disappointing and traumatising.....waste of money time....will...

A horrible, unhygienic place!

I had ordered chicken lollypop and biryani. The chicken lollypop was very hard and stale chicken. Not the overcooked type hard. But the stale kind. Also, the chicken smell was very strong. It was stinking like it's gone bad. I didn't eat this. But that is nothing compared to the main surprise.

Their biryani had a mini cockroach. I almost vomited when I saw this. Informed the staff and showed them. They denied initially saying it is fried onions but later accepted and said they will bring me another plate. They took the plate and came back very fast. I saw the plate and felt that they did not give me a fresh plate. They just removed that cockroach, shook the plate and brought it back to me. Looking at the chicken pieces I could make out. But I could not prove it so I left.

Imagine if there are mini cockroaches, they must have a nest somewhere. Mini roaches will not just walk in from the window.

This place deserves a 1 star. Looking at the other reviews, the cockroaches have been spotted by others as well. Strange that it still has...

Without any option i have rated 1star, One of the worst ever cafe i have experienced, Tasteless food and non cooperative staff,

We ordered veg chees balls,Potato bucket & chicken lollipop

What we were actually served is ready made old stocked bitter tasted cheesless balls, Plate of McCain ready made friesm, few Over fried wedges and smiles, Not sure how old the chicken was which was served to us.

And another unfair part is, they are double charging for 1ltr of Bisleri(40₹) which actually costs 20₹ mrp.

Cannot call it as cafe its disgusting place (Due to a service and food)

Apart from all these their prices are too high.

Only good thing in this cafe...
