I recently had the pleasure of dining at Sharief Bhai during their anniversary month celebration, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience. The restaurant is currently offering some great deals and offers that are too good to resist. One of the highlights of their anniversary month is the opportunity to enjoy mouthwatering desserts for just one rupee when you order their delectable biryani. This is truly a sweet treat for all dessert lovers out there!
What impressed me the most about Sharief Bhai is their commitment to providing a memorable dining experience. They start serving breakfast as early as 9 am, making it a perfect spot for early risers or those who simply can't resist the temptation of a delicious morning meal. The best part is that this offer lasts for the entire month, so you have plenty of time to indulge in their scrumptious breakfast options.
Now let's talk about the food itself. Sharief Bhai offers a wide range of wonderful dishes that truly capture the essence of traditional Mughlai cuisine. From the tantalizing pathar ghost and Nalli nihari to the flavorful ghost biryani and perfectly grilled kebabs, every dish is a masterpiece. The shorbas, or soups, are also worth mentioning as they are bursting with rich flavors that will leave you craving for more.
As I stepped into the restaurant, I was instantly captivated by the warm and inviting ambiance. The place is beautifully lit with Turkish lanterns, creating a cozy and intimate atmosphere that is perfect for a romantic dinner or a gathering with friends and family. The attention to detail in the decor truly adds to the overall dining experience.
One dish that stood out for me was the mutton samosa. It was simply divine! The crispy exterior perfectly complemented the succulent mutton filling, creating a burst of flavors with every bite. It has quickly become my favorite dish at Sharief Bhai, and I highly recommend...

Read moreThis was my first visit to Sharief Bhai on Sarjapur Road. The restaurant is quite spacious and airy and was not overly crowded at 2 PM. Their menu is quite comprehensive and has a lot to offer specially for non-vegetarians. My friend and I started our meal with a Ginger Lime Soda and a Lime Soda respectively. For the main course we ordered the Har-dil-azeez Gosht Biryani - small plate of mutton biryani made with jeeraga samba rice. Eventhough I have heard people go into rhapsodies over the biryanies at Sharief Bhai and I still remember the long queues at their first outlet in Koramangala, I for one have never found this version of the biryani particularly appealing. It is bland and lacks richness. The mutton in the biryani was substandard and not trimmed to remove the rubbery bits. The biryani came with raitha and was filling enough for two. Along with the biryani, we ordered the Bheja Fry and the Gosht Shammi Kebab. I was looking forward to the Bheja Fry but was sorely disappointed. The masala was burnt and this detracted from the natural flavours of the goat brain. The Shammi Kebab was average and nothing to write home about. What I enjoyed best out of my lunch experience was the Suleimani Chai which was exemplary. The chai alone is worth...
