I had been visiting this place for quiet a while now, it has been good overall. But of late there has been negative feeling around. The guys in the counters - tea & pao bhaji, these people rudely behave with customers, I had experienced twice now in 2 days.
The guy on the tea counter was asking me if I am angry and wanted to fight. I was shocked to hear that. I don't think he has any personal vendeta with me and possibly he has this anger issue with other customers as well and may have carried away. Possibly this guy could be from the North-East or West Bengal from what I understand from his accent. I feel he stammers at times and his Hindi just average. I myself is a Bengali.
As for the pao-bhaji guy, I asked him if thats all in the plate and shall I take it, he replied back with an anger tone - how much more you want?, if you want more go and pay for it in the payment counter. This guy speaks in Hindi.
I reported the same with the cashier yesterday, he too didn't responded and just listened to what I said, that's it.
I thought to posted here as well.
I wish and request the management to take this seriously or else they will be loosing customers on the long run. If require, I can come in and talk on the same.
This is a good restaurant and the foods are also good. But few people can make...
Read moreThis used to be one of our go-to breakfast spots back in 2021–22, but sadly, the quality has gone down drastically. We visited recently, expecting the same comforting South Indian flavors — soft idlis, fresh juice, crispy dosas — but it turned out to be a letdown.
We had specifically planned a morning breakfast here, but the experience left us genuinely disappointed. The potato masala inside our dosa was stale, and we could tell immediately that it wasn’t freshly made. When we brought it up with the staff, they admitted that the filling used was old, possibly from the previous day, and they were trying to finish it off before switching to the fresh batch.
Though they eventually agreed to replace the dosa after some discussion, the damage was already done — our appetite and mood were both off. If you look at the pictures, you’ll see we couldn’t even finish the replacement dosa because by then, we had just lost interest.
What’s more disheartening is that I’ve heard similar complaints from others lately — seems like this isn’t a one-off case. The taste and experience have both taken a serious hit, which is disappointing for a place that once used to be so reliable.
Hope they work on fixing this — I’d love to see them bounce back to their old standards, but as of now, I wouldn’t...
Read moreHonestly I had a good impression on this restaurant but off late this has gone from good to waste. I recently dined at a restaurant that left much to be desired. The food lacked any visible flavor, and each dish seemed to compete in a race to the bottom for blandness. It's safe to say my taste buds were thoroughly unimpressed, and I left with a craving for something more flavorful elsewhere. Fresh juice was okay, but a bit sugary. Serving good South Indian food. Recommended for breakfast. Usually too much crowded on weekends. Their ice cream sundaes are must try. It's a pure vegetarian restaurant. The food and ambience is similar to Udupi restaurants. The taste is also similar. The menu has both North and South Indian dishes. It's a self service restaurant. The seating area is limited. It is located on the main road and had parking space. Loved the service. There are a variety of food options available. Visited here once with my family. Food items were tasty but expected a bit more. Overall...
