Shyamji's Chole Bhature opened their second outlet in JP Nagar, Bengaluru and we visited this place wanting to try out some of their dishes. We went there on a Friday evening, and the place was not crowded at all. The service was fast and the staff are friendly as well. Parking for a four wheeler is not available and it's recommended to park it far off and walk to the place. We had the following while we were at Shyamji's Chole Bhature.
The Chole Bhature is surely the top dish at Shyamji's Chole Bhature. The bhature is very fluffy, perfectly cooked, and the chole is super soft as well. The spice level is good, and one can enjoy it with some chutney and onions as well.
Chaas is served chilled in a bottle and I felt it could have been better had it not been that thick.
Malai Sweet Lassi with a pinch of dry fruits on the top is definitely the drink to have when you are at Shyamji's Chole Bhature. The Lassi is fresh, thick, and very tasty.
Samosa with onion and sev was a bit of a let down. The contents inside the samosa was quite bland, it surely lacked spice, and the onion and sev could not salvage the dish.
Malai Rabdi Gulab Jamun is a very unique dish that is served at Shyamji's Chole Bhature. You should end your visit with this dish, the thick malai poured on top of a hot jamun will forever be enticing. The jamun is thick and filled with flavor, and the malai rabdi only makes it even more delightful.
You can find Shyamji's Chole Bhature at Shop 2 & 3, Blossom Arcade, Green Skies Blue Forest, 1st Main, 4th Cross, Krishnam Raju Layout, 7th Phase, JP Nagar, Bangalore.

Read moreI usually do not share any reviews about food joints as there are dime a dozen in Bangalore and there won’t be anything to write home about. I love food especially the North Indian kind and I was looking for some authentic choley bhaturey especially after covid induced lockdown got over. I stay in ecity and shyamjis is in JP Nagar so I needed to find some time to get there. Luckily today I got the time and hit the joint around 12pm. It’s a small shop right beside the road and you can have your food inside standing (there is provision for takeaways also). I ordered cb, rabdi lassi and gulab jamun. The cb (choley bhaturey) came with a spicy side dish of onion, chilly and it was absolutely delicious. The bhatureys were to die for (fluffy and super soft) and the choley was spiced perfect (I am no Delhi guy but I know my cb) 😅. I washed down the spice with an amazing rabdi lassi and finished off the gulab jamun. This might have been one of the best choley bhaturey and lassi + gulab jamun I have had ever and I intend to go there whenever I get a chance! Also word of advice…get there on a bike or auto as parking is scarce and it can get congested real quick. Hope they continue the amazing quality and taste over time (the eatery has been operational for 6 months now). I am yet to taste their samosas and kachoris and will add to this...
Read moreIt’s truly lucky for the area to have a Shyamji’s branch — a blessing for anyone craving authentic street-style chole bhature.
Shyamji’s Chole Bhature is our go-to comfort food, consistently delivering amazing taste, quality, and their legendary lassi!
We’ve been loyal fans of Shyamji’s outlets for a long time, and this outlet has quickly become one of our favorite spots.
What truly stands out is the consistency — the same delicious flavors and quality across all their outlets.
Their signature chole bhature is packed with flavor — the chole is perfectly spiced, hearty, and served hot. The addition of fresh green chutney elevates the dish and balances the richness beautifully. We also highly recommend their bedmi puri with aloo sabzi — crispy puris with a spicy, tangy potato curry that hits the spot every time.
One thing we never skip is their signature lassi — thick, creamy, sweet with a hint of tanginess, it’s truly one-of-a-kind and the perfect finish to the meal. In fact, for us, the meal feels incomplete without the lassi. It’s become a ritual!
The outlet itself is compact, with standing tables, but the space is well-utilized and can comfortably handle the regular crowd. The vibe is casual, quick, and perfect for grabbing a satisfying North Indian...
