Si Nonna’s was a great new discovery in bustling Koramangala for some authentic sourdough pizza with a menu as close as a slice of Italy in Namma ooru. Started the meal with nonna’s cooler, a refreshing house made lemonade, with a side of focaccia al rosmarino, a sourdough bread with a sprinkle of Maldon sea salt with sprigs of fragrant fresh rosemary. The super soft sourdough bread with a beautiful infusion of rosemary was simple perfect as it is, but the basil pesto dip elevated it even further, highly recommended.
Surprisingly the eggplant parmigiana was listed in the appetizers and found it to be mini medallions of bite sized eggplant parmigiana that was baked to perfection and I loved it to the core, I could have easily polished off a couple of plates. My friend who’s isn’t a fan of anything eggplant, has now a new found appreciation for the vegetable after tasting it.
For mains we decided to share pizza number 3 on the menu, that was essentially a sourdough pizza with a Tomato Sauce, Fior Di Latte Mozzarella, Thinly Sliced Garlic, Pitted Greek Kalamata Olives, Capers, Oregano, Fresh Basil, Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The pizza was simply divine as I totally devoured this extremely light sourdough pizza that was deliciously made, truly a masterly crafted slice of heaven.
Did pickup another refreshing drink, a peach iced tea, with a garlic sourdough bread, that was equally delicious with a fantastic garlic overload on super aerated sourdough bread.
Where this beautifully authentic Italian meal with offcourse a tiramisu and an affogato, realising that their coffee game is as good as the original sourdough creations. The tiramisu was a perfectly crafted dessert that just did absolute justice to the promise of authenticity.

Read moreWe had such a joyful and heartwarming experience at Si Noona – The Original Sourdough in Bangalore! From the moment we stepped in with the kids, the staff were nothing but smiles and sweetness. They welcomed us so warmly and even took the time to play and chat with the little ones, which instantly set the tone for what turned into a truly memorable outing.
The absolute highlight for us was that the kids got to make their very own pizzas! The staff guided them step by step — helping them roll out the dough, sprinkle the cheese, add the veggies, and then slide it into their gorgeous, big red oven. The excitement on their faces watching their pizzas bake was priceless. It’s such a rare treat to find a restaurant that not only serves incredible food but also creates these kinds of family-friendly, hands-on experiences.
And speaking of food — oh my goodness, their pizzas are divine! The meat pizza of the day was truly out of this world — full of flavor, perfectly balanced, and just the right amount of indulgence. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite. The dough was airy yet crisp, the toppings fresh and generous, and the whole experience felt like a celebration of good food.
But what made our time extra special was the people. The staff are the heart and soul of this place — so friendly, so patient, and genuinely sweet. They went out of their way to make us and the kids feel welcome, and that’s something we’ll always remember.
We left with full bellies, happy hearts, and three little ones who couldn’t stop talking about “their” pizzas. For us, Si Noona isn’t just about sourdough and pizza, it’s about warmth, kindness, and the kind of experience that makes you want to return again and again.
Highly, highly recommend for families, foodies, or anyone looking for a place that serves up both happiness and seriously...
Read moreWe visited Si Nonna’s in Koramangala on a Sunday night and had a truly delightful experience. Right from the moment we stepped in, the warm and inviting ambiance set the tone for a great evening.
We started with the Olive and Cherry Tomatoes Panuozzo, a sandwich made with their signature sourdough bread. The bread was perfectly airy yet crisp, and the flavors were incredibly fresh and well-balanced — definitely a standout dish. For the mains, we ordered the Chicken No. 6 Pizza. The pizza had a nice crust but topping of chicken should could have been better, and while it was quite good, it didn’t quite steal the show like the panuozzo.
For dessert, we couldn’t resist trying their Classic Tiramisu, and it absolutely lived up to the hype. Light, creamy, and not overly sweet, it was the perfect way to end the meal — easily one of the best tiramisus we’ve had in a long time.
The service throughout the evening was prompt and friendly. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and they were happy to remove the service charge when requested, which was a refreshing and appreciated gesture.
Overall, Si Nonna’s impressed us with its high-quality food, relaxed atmosphere, and customer-first attitude. We would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for authentic Italian flavors in Koramangala and can’t wait to go back to try more...
