Ive gone to the bel road branch of the same restaurant many times. And more than the food quality what has always jumped out is the service. The personal touch by not just the owner but the other staff as well. From helping us decide what to order to the quick service. In contrast this branch doesnt even feel like its the samerestaurant. Been here twice this week and been disappointed both times. Today we went for lunch. Wanted to order chilli prawns and fish and chips. Neither items are difficult to pronounce or understand. Our server however couldnt comprehend even after repeating several times. Finally had to point. Even then he took a while to comprehend. Along with those two we ordered a brownie shake and a cappuccino. The latter never arrived. The infamous chilli prawns which was a starter arrived well after the fish and chips which is a main course was over. At this point we were contemplating just asking for the bill and leaving but somehow the prawns reached our table. And guess what. The taste was mediocre at best. And the quantity. 6 tiny prawns. I counted. Which was ridiculously pathetic. Anyways at this point we had had enough and didnt feel like spending any more time there so left It wasnt just our server who was bad. The others. Apart from a north east lady. All looked equally incompetent. Carrying food trays around the restaurant trying to figure out which table the order belonged to. All in all. A very sad and...

Read moreIts an old restaurant that was always below average. Since it got renovated, we wanted to try it again. To our disappointment it still remains the same. Over priced, average food quality and taste. They hardly prepare anything themselves. Most of the items are frozen and reheated. nachos and also readymade. Muffins below average. The burger was ok but pricey for the size and quality.
Coffee, below average. They have mentioned in bold "Italian coffee experience... " Only words cannot get you customers. You need to serve that quality. It is also overpriced. Honey ginger tea is Rs.200!!! A below avg taste Americano is served for Rs. 200 which you drink in a dull atmosphere whereas Glens serve a better one for just Rs.80. absolutely no specialization in the coffee beans.
Although they have renovated the restaurant, maybe somebody should have told them that working on the menu, food quality and service experience is much more important than the changes in interiors. There is no energy in the environment. The place looks dead and dull. You will have to keep looking for waiters to get anything. Not recommended and Not...
