Beijing Bites - Sahakarnagar — Restaurant in Bengaluru

The restaurant and the food itself is not bad, but the service is inattentive, behaviour is cocky and service is absolutely terrible. Placed our order with someone called Bobby who even repeated the order for confirmation. Got our food, and we were missing an item. When we told a person called Suraj who seemed like the captain that there was an item missing, he insisted that we did not place an order at all. When I said I would like to see the order slip, they were evasive and said they would have it in 5 minutes, and then after 15 minutes Suraj suddenly seems to have remembered that he had retaken an order that they had originally missed and went into the kitchen and came out with the item just as we finished our food. We refused the order, but we were told that it would get wasted and tried to guilt trip us, even as he failed to recognise the severe deficiency in service...but when we stuck to our point that it was too late, he thankfully retracted instead of making the situation worse than it already was. The food itself was good. However I would not recommend going to this place, or if you go, make sure to have the guy repeat the order twice, and also ensure that it is all in sync when they bring in the first...

Over all very disappointing services provided. At first I thought that was a good decessiion to eat some nice food in the cold winter, However I was introduced to a non native, non english speaking service staff. Later a was served some food that I ordered, which seemed to be quite manageable. During the entire time, they were swiggy orders,, continuously being attended. Finally, when the time came to pay the bill. The place has mobile phone jammers, which prevent you from using your card and other form of payment's. I tried with two valid credit card and debit cards, with sufficient funds and also PAYTM options. It would just not work. Finally, I ended up paying cash for my dinner. The place left me with a very bitter experience of not eating in such places and not promoting it to anyone else about it. Staff seemed to be disinterested and was not apologetic for the same. The entire time the hotel seemed to be empty and no other customers, except swiggy men sitting inside. No water was served and no one to collect the bill after dinner. Complete not...

We went for dinner here and didn't try much starters here. Had high hopes on momo but that was disappointing.But the Thai curry made my day. Though we came for takeaway but the place do have indoor seating. Nothing lavish, very basic, suitable for family dining. You won't get parking here, have to park on the road which is full almost always, so that's a drawback if you are coming with your car.

Things we ordered:

Chicken steam momo: It was okayish nothing special. Little better than street momos, missed the authentic chinese touch hence little disappointing.

Hakka Noodles (Non veg): The preparation had an authentic chinese touch and the quantity served was enough for two people. Overall this item was good.
