We were really excited to visit this restaurant after seeing so many positive reviews and reels, but our experience turned out to be a disaster.

I went with my friend, a Brahmin vegetarian who has never consumed non-vegetarian food in her life. From the start, the service was disappointing—the staff seemed clueless, and when I asked for recommendations, the waitress had no answer. I ordered Chicken Thai Rice (which was very mediocre) and a Tiramisu Smoothie, which tasted nothing like tiramisu—just banana and mango. When I pointed this out, the waitress ignored me and walked away.

The real issue, however, came after we had finished eating. My friend had ordered a Paneer Tikka Wrap, but when the bill arrived, it listed Chicken Tikka Wrap instead. When we pointed this out, the waitress immediately realized her mistake and went to check with the cook, only to confirm that my friend had, in fact, been served chicken.

This blunder was beyond shocking. My friend, who has never eaten non-veg in her life, unknowingly consumed it due to their negligence. She was devastated. What made it even worse was that it’s not like the restaurant was crowded—in fact, we were the only customers there. Yet, they still managed to make such a careless mistake. Instead of taking responsibility, the staff dismissed the situation with a half-hearted apology and still expected us to pay. My friend was in tears, and our entire evening was ruined.

Such carelessness is unacceptable. Serving the wrong food, especially when it violates a person’s dietary restrictions, is a serious issue. The way the staff handled it showed complete disregard for their customers.

To the management: If you truly care, train your staff properly and take responsibility for such blunders. Food preferences and restrictions should never be taken lightly.

I would never recommend this place unless major...

Cafe Buddha – A Hidden Gem of Tranquility

I recently visited Cafe Buddha, and I can confidently say it is one of the most serene and delightful cafés I’ve ever experienced. Nestled in a peaceful corner of the city, this café offers a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Here’s why it’s worth every visit:

Ambiance: The moment you walk in, you are greeted by a calming, Zen-like atmosphere. The soft lighting, tasteful Buddha-inspired decor, and subtle background music create a serene vibe that makes it a perfect spot to unwind, read a book, or catch up with friends. The outdoor seating, surrounded by lush greenery, is an absolute dream for nature lovers.

Food & Drinks: Cafe Buddha excels not only in ambiance but also in its menu offerings. The selection is diverse and caters to every palate, from health-conscious foodies to those craving indulgence. Their Buddha Bowls are fresh, flavorful, and packed with wholesome ingredients, while their signature coffee blends and herbal teas are perfectly brewed to lift your spirits. Don't miss out on their matcha lattes and freshly baked pastries—both are heavenly!

Service: The staff at Cafe Buddha are warm, welcoming, and go the extra mile to ensure you have a memorable experience. They are knowledgeable about the menu and are always happy to offer recommendations based on your preferences.

Overall Experience: Whether you're looking for a quiet spot to work, a cozy place for a date, or just somewhere to relax and recharge, Cafe Buddha ticks all the boxes. The combination of fantastic food, impeccable service, and a peaceful ambiance makes it a must-visit destination for anyone in search of a tranquil...

My recent visit to this restaurant left me with mixed feelings. On the surface, the place exuded a cool and relaxed Goan vibe that seemed promising. However, the experience took a sour turn due to the rude behavior of the owner, Sonia. It's a classic case of "Don't judge a book by its cover."

We decided to try this place using the Swiggy Dineout GIRF deal and booked a table for three. While the food we ordered was mediocre at best, it certainly didn't justify the prices charged.

Since it was my friend's birthday, I inquired about the cake options and prices. Unfortunately, the staff was not knowledgeable, so Sonia herself intervened. She provided a list of cake options, and I opted for the "Chocolate Truffle 500gms" which ended up costing me ₹1700. However, I requested the removal of the service charge, bringing the bill down to ₹1565. I found it puzzling that the cake was priced so steeply, especially considering I couldn't find any menu or online source justifying such high costs.

To make matters worse, the cake itself was a letdown. The base had an unexpected salty taste, and the overall quality was far from satisfactory. I wouldn't even consider paying ₹600 for it, let alone the exorbitant price I was charged.

The response that Sonia gave was, "I'm the baker and that's my price". But we still ended up sharing half of the cake with the staff there.

In conclusion, if you're looking to be scammed with overpriced desserts, this is the perfect place for you. However, based on my experience, I cannot...

Cafe Budda is a serene and vibrant spot, perfect for those who appreciate a calm and peaceful environment. The ambiance is truly inviting, with its colorful interior and heritage-style decor, which gives off a Goa-like vibe right in the heart of the city. It's a refreshing escape from the usual hustle and bustle. However, the seating arrangement leaves a bit to be desired. While the benches with backrests are a thoughtful touch, they aren't particularly comfortable for longer stays. Additionally, their birthday package seems a bit pricey for what it offers—it's just okay, not exactly a standout deal. On the positive side, the service at Cafe Budda is commendable. The staff is attentive, adding to the overall pleasant atmosphere of the place. The pricing for food is also quite reasonable, not over the top, and the dishes are tasty, which adds to the value for money. It's nice to see a place that balances ambiance, service, and food quality so well. For those driving, parking is conveniently available for both bikes and cars, which is a great plus. The cafe accepts cash, UPI, and card payments, making transactions easy and hassle-free. Overall, Cafe Budda is worth a visit for its unique ambiance and good service, though there's room for improvement in comfort and special packages.

Went for a Christmas lunch here today. Owned and operated by a family of artists, this cafe is part of their amazing home built with granite, slate, jaisalmer marble, wire cut bricks, athangudi tiles and much, much more.. The exquisitely artistic and unique building would have been an experience in itself for one's eyes and touch with it's carefully chosen tapestry and a feast of textures to the touch. What was unexpected and mind-blowing, was the tasty and well presented spread of items. Peering through the Mahogany leaves at the busy city from the balcony with jali work, you can't be blamed for transcending the bustle of Bangalore and beaming beatifically like the one and only, after whom the cafe is named. We had ginger tea and cappuccino with two types of chicken momos. They were tasty and very filling. So chose to complete the meal with a Tiramisu, skipping the main course. The waiters were very professional and polite. Food arrived in good time and was presented well. Washroom was clean and the small space was made interesting with artefacts and bright palette. As we were leaving, the owners chased us to down to have their freshly baked Christmas cake. All in all, the owners made us feel special and blessed on a wonderful day!
