Restaurant Review: The Dragon Chinese Restaurant
We recently visited The Dragon Chinese Restaurant for a family dinner. Overall, the experience was mixed.
Food: The food was quite good in terms of taste and quality. Each dish was flavorful and well-prepared. However, the menu was limited, and there weren't many options to choose from, especially for a family with varied preferences. We ended up spending RM 1337.90, which felt a bit on the pricey side for the overall value.
Service: Service was a bit disappointing. Food delivery to the table was slow, and it seemed like the restaurant was understaffed. It took longer than expected for our orders to arrive, which affected the overall dining experience.
Atmosphere: The ambiance was decent and family-friendly. However, during our visit, there was a power outage that lasted for a while. It was inconvenient and slightly disrupted the mood, though the staff tried to manage the situation as best they could.

The restaurant has two floors with Chinese themes all over. The bottom floor is smaller compared to the top one which has a better seating arrangement.
Everything was pretty good except for the service. The waiting manager seemed to be pushing more of his choices while letting us decide on what we wished to order, and had little knowledge about the preparation of dishes while trying to make the customer look like a fool for enquiring. To add to this, they brought all the veg dishes including starters and main course together and much later than the non veg starters that we had finished, keeping our vegetarian friends hungry for a while.
