For English families venturing to Bangalore, Thindi Beedhi food street is a culinary adventure waiting to be explored! Nestled within the vibrant city, this street food haven offers a safe and delightful introduction to the rich tapestry of Indian cuisine. As a first-time visitor, my family and I were enthralled by the myriad of aromas and flavors that greeted us. From savory dosas to spicy chaats and delectable sweets, there's something to tantalize every palate. What's more, the food stalls maintain high hygiene standards, ensuring a worry-free dining experience for English travelers. We indulged in a gastronomic journey, sampling a variety of street delicacies without compromising on safety. The friendly vendors were more than happy to recommend their specialties, guiding us through this culinary maze with warmth and enthusiasm. One standout dish was the masala dosa—a crispy crepe filled with a flavorful potato filling, served with tangy chutneys and sambar. It was a true delight for our taste buds, showcasing the diversity and complexity of Indian flavors. Another highlight was the piping hot vada pav—a spicy potato fritter sandwiched between soft buns, perfect for a quick and satisfying snack. And of course, no visit to Thindi Beedhi is complete without trying the iconic Bengaluru bisi bele bath—a hearty rice dish cooked with lentils and vegetables, bursting with aromatic spices. Overall, our experience at Thindi Beedhi food street was nothing short of exceptional. Safe, delicious, and brimming with culinary delights, it's a must-visit for English families looking to savor the authentic flavors of Bangalore.

Visited on a bustling evening, and the energy was unmistakable—crowds, chatter and the unmistakable aroma of street-style Indian snacks. This spot is a haven for vegetarian food lovers, with countless stalls dishing out local favorites. We tried the Pav Bhaji and Chole Bature both delivered on flavor. The pav was buttery and well-spiced, while the chole had a punchy masala kick, paired with fluffy bature that hit the spot. If you're chasing taste over presentation, this place delivers. Hygiene isn’t the selling point here it’s more of a grab-and-go setup. Think fast bites, not finesse. Seating is minimal, and the ambiance is pure street-style chaos. But if you're okay with that, the food makes it worth the detour. Great for a quick vegetarian fix, especially if you're craving bold flavors and don’t mind trading cleanliness for character.

I have been coming to Food Street since 2002 and in these last 20 years, there are many drastic changes. The original charm of this place is lost. This place is now completely commercial and is crowded most of the time. Eating here is an expensive affair. Baby corn/Sweet corn masala items are Rs.150 per plate, Gulkan with icecream is Rs.160. None of these items are worth the price and it's just the unnecessary hype that has driven the prices so high. The street was dirty and had cowdung here and there. There were few places that stinked of filth (eg, next to gol gappa) and made it hard to breathe. The whole street must be made a no-vehicle zone. All sort of vehicle (2, 3 and 4 wheelers) are allowed here. I don't recommend this place unless you want to go there for an expensive experience.
