It's ironic this cafe is called 'Third Wave' bec that's exactly what's going to happen if they don't get strict with customers indoors. When they opened they were strict with guests about masks indoors when not eating/drinking/visiting the loo and keeping physical distance at the cashier, counter etc. However, theses days it looks like any other cafe chain as if, the Second Covid Wave never happened. In terms of service the staff can be a little forgetful. French press without cup, plate without spoon or fork, food without napkins, salt, pepper etc you get the picture. Had ordered a siphon coffee but was given the readymade ver instead! Asked for the Siphon and was told it was unsafe to light the small burner in the outdoor seating despite having done so before. The only nice thing about the place is the small ventilated outdoor space for seating. Some of the food is good such as, the banana walnut cake, egg on sourdough toast, pancakes. This is also one of the few cages that bake fresh medium crust pizzas. Since it's made on the spot you can customise these by speaking to the chef. The coffee which is supposed to be the main attraction is good provided the one you choose is available. The have a selection of brews from India and abroad and the method of preparation which is the only reason you would visit a cafe like this, is worth it provided they don't make flimsy excuses for doing it the hard way. Third wave is def better than CCD. Would recommend a visit and a quick sip/bite but it's nothing like Starbucks if that's what you're expecting.

Visited the place again and guess what....it was De ja vu....the service still is pathetic and a repeat of the experience. The cinamon roll was not heated properly and had to send it back. Though the number of staff seem to have increased but the service was horrible. The items were on the counter and the staff were busy chit chatting and took time to get the dishes from the counter to the table. Though there were a lot of them, the service took a lot of time. The pizza was not baked well, had less cheese. The bun masala omlette was tasteless. Guess this place should be visited only if you have ample time and patience to ONLY have their coffee or beverages. ------------------------------------------ We keep visiting the TWC outlets mainly for their cinamon rolls and cookies. The taste has been consistently maintained across their outlets so has been the case with this one as well. They have ample parking area unlike other outlets which is a plus. The ambience is pretty good but they really need to work on the admin and coordination part. A cookie and cinamon roll took them a couple of reminders before they realised that a order was placed and they have to serve us. The guy who was serving was very friendly but the billing and processing team (behind the counter) was totally a bunch of lost folks. This, when the cafe was not in its full capacity. We got our order finally but they totally forgot to heat it up 😟. Had to send it back only to get back a very hot cinamon roll.

The ambience is good. Sufficient parking space. People come here not just to eat but also to work from cafe. The service is good. Pretty chilling inside to sit. Prices slightly on higher side however the taste wise they are good. The NEW EXPERIENCE that I had here is that they teach you about brewing, how to brew the coffee and how to have the coffee. A demo was given to us and brewing was explained at every steps. This is one of the main reason why the restaurant is called as "Third wave". WE GOT DEMO FROM THE PERSON NAMED PRIYANKA, who was very kind enough to explain whatever when asked in the language we requested/comfortable with. 19g of coffee bean was taken which are 9 grain size (that suits well for brewing, as it wil not have too much of dirt and too much of bitter taste). V60 filter paper was used (V - Shape, 60 - diameter). Initially the filter paper was made wet using hot portable water from kettle to remove the odd smell and things like that. Water was taken double the quantity of the coffee bean taken. Portable hot water was having a temperature about 92-94 degree celcius. Seating arrangement are good. It has seating capacity inside as well as outside. It is just beside the main road. Easily accessible. And the cleanliness is good and hygienic. I would recommend for the people to visit this cafe...
