We had been there to tryout their famous wood fire brick oven pizzas... but were left a little disappointed... we started with ordering the drinks first - 'Tiramisu Cooler' and 'Watermelon and Coconut Milk'. Tiramisu Cooler was really good but the 'Watermelon and Coconut Milk' was too icy. For starters we had ordered Mozzarella Sticks and Barbecue Chicken Wings. The Mozzarella Sticks were totally unimpressive. We were expecting it to melt in the mouth with the gooey cheese but that didn't happen - they were chewy n blunt in taste. I won't recommend it to anyone. Though we had ordered the pizzas while ordering the starters and drinks but we let them know that we would like it after finishing da starters. But they ended up serving the pizzas along with the starters. So by the time we started with the pizzas, it was already cold. So the trick is to order the main course only when u are at the end of the starters. We had ordered Roasted Chicken and Chicken Pepperoni Pizzas. The good part was that the pizzas are thin crust prepared using wood fire and that we could order slices of different types as per our requirements rather than order the entire pizza. The downside was that both the pizza slices we ordered tasted exactly the same! Thankfully the taste wasnt too bad. I think I'll rate it at 3 with the Tiramisu Cooler as the star...
Read moreI went to this place twice and I'm still not bored of it! This place is in BEL road right below Ember the Calabash. Though there's valet parking for ETC, there's no valet parking for Vinny's. However, the ambiance of this place is good and the staffs are professional, not that friendly though.
Coming to the food, I took the Veg Alfredo Penne pasta which was great! Pastas are nice in every place and the same applies here! I also took the 9 inch veg pizza with 5 toppings. The toppings I chose were corn, Onion, Olives, Garlic and tomato. The pizza is done using brick oven and they taste better than ever! They are thin crust Italian pizzas and the taste is simply great! After eating this, I took a brownie. However the brownie had nuts, so it wasn't that great. There's also this combo where you get a pasta, a teenie-tiny pizza and some fries. That's filling, but they don't give us the bread in the pasta which is a huge disadvantage for all those who love garlic bread! However, the pizza is topped with a lot of vegetables and the pasta is given in a bowl and looks delicious!
Although, this place isn't really pocket friendly, it was worth a visit. It's a family hangout place as well as a friend's hangout place. Would visit this...
Read moreVisited this place for a casual Sunday evening Dinner and it was incredible. Extremely tasty food accompanied with prompt service and a cool ambience. This place is the complete package.
We ordered the 12 inch Margherita pizza which would be more than sufficient for 2 people. The pizza was delightful in taste and was of a really good size as well.
We also had the chicken burger and their burgers are triple layered (You can see in the pic I've uploaded). They have 3 layers of bread and 2 layers of the filling in between. So you need to work hard and open a really wide mouth to take a bite, but all this effort is absolutely worth it cause it tastes F-A-N-T-A-S-T-C. They perhaps bake the bun of the burger which makes it crispy and further adds to the taste.
Lastly, we also had the garlic chicken fingers. This dish had 8 medium sized chicken fingers and tasted yummy, specially after dipping it into the sauce which is served along with it.
Price wise I feel it's a little on the higher side, but the yummy food more than makes it...
