I have been a patron of Third Wave Coffee for almost exactly one year now, out of which I have visited the Bellandur outlet the most, which makes me feel qualified to leave a detailed review of this cafe.
Service - The nicest folks who will treat you very well. I have been ordering an orange zest mocha with oatmilk from here so consistently that the cashier remembered my order today, which made feel a little special for sure, given the footfall this outlet experiences.
Food - The coffee is overall very good, but you come here for the speciality coffee drinks and ambience more than anything else. Blue Tokai may do coffee-coffee better, but their cafe experience is simply abysmal in comparison. My favorites here are the orange zest mocha (clearly), the newly launched pistachio croissant, and the lemon raspberry tea cake. They're always launching new items to keep things fresh, too. Pricey for sure, goes without saying, but it is what you pay to use their reliable, free WiFi and stick around for the whole day if you so require.
The two cons as such that I would be remiss not to warn you about would be -
Just to keep things in perspective, I am a regular at Third Wave, using it mostly as a workplace. I also do visit Blue Tokai and a host of other coffee shops. And every single time without exception, I have ordered one, two or more items at Thirdwave, with an average order size of 600-700 Rs. Yesterday, I happened to be there again and this time, I was on a series of phone calls, standing outside the restaurant for extended periods of time. I had to leave urgently and didnt even realize that I hadnt placed an order. As I packed and left to leave, the barista called across from the counter, loud enough for all the people in the cafe to hear and told me how I had not ordered anything and used the wifi and how that was not right. While I understand that as a policy, a restaurant may require you to order something for the time spent there, I do believe there are nice ways to talk to someone about it. They may want to consider the frequency of visits (and please dont tell me in this digital age, you dont have this data) or just exercise courtesy when talking to customers. I am disappointed, to...

I went there on a Sunday. It was packed and loud with music on high volume. We had ordered a chicken wrap and a latte which were good. The reason for my rating is the staff- whom I found to be unprofessional.
As i was enjoying my coffee, an employee came and started clearing the table, I was clearly not done. After pointing that out he apologized. I get that the place was busy, but let me enjoy my coffee!!
10 minutes passed when the same employee came and asked us "if we are ready to leave" -- as 3 new customers have come who couldn't find a table. Take note that we had hardly been there for 30 mins. We were being respectful to the space- had occupied only a small table for 2 and we might have ordered more.
It felt a bit rude and impolite. It's a big coffee chain not a restaurant, they charge high to provide a comfortable environment.
I am regular to Starbucks, chai point and have never faced such a situation even when the place is packed. I hope they train their staff better to take better control...
