Dash Restrobar located at Salt Lake City Centre is known for their customized food. Order according to your preference and get it served at your table. The restaurant can accomodate 20 people at a time . The place has a charming ambience , felt like entering a restaurant on a Christmas Eve. Soothing music being played at the background , decorated walls with soft toys , painting and comfy sitting arrangements sum up the get up of this place.
Service was quick yet not the most acurate . Food served was hot and was on time .
Started off with a few mocktails of which virgin mojito was refreshing and sweet. The pineapple blossom had great balance of sweetness that can attract every palate .
Moving on to the starters , the chicken malai kebabs were the stand out. Good pieces of boneless chicken marinated with curd or cream and other secondary elements, grilled to perfection over the tandoor. It was served with a green chutney ,tasted delicious .
Next comes the fried chicken which could have been a little smaller in size , nevertheless big boneless cuts of chicken coated with a crumb and deep fried , it was crunchy and had decent flavours .
For the mains i mainly focused on nasi goreng with Singapore chicken. Both of them were good , the chicken being even better than the other. Nasi goreng is basically mixed fried rice from Indonesia . The difference in the looks than a regular fried rice lies only on the fried egg on top which is present in every nasi goreng prep. The rice had lots of chicken chunks, prawns , corns and other veggies. Quantity was good compared to the price . The Singapore chicken was a shredded chicken preparation made with lots of dry red chillies. Although it wasn't as spicy as it looked but was perfectly cooked and hence tasty.

Read moreAfter reading good reviews in google , we decided to visit them one evening for a special occasion. We booked a table through dineout. But once there, we came to know that they do not honor zomato and dineout bookings....that said they told this to us straightaway once we entered the restaurant. Then the manager offered us 10% discount on food and 1+1 on drink which we agreed to. But while ordering, whichever drink i tried to order , they either said that is not available or said they are not under offer. Staff members are least interested in greeting or serving their customers....perhaps they are used to getting paid for doing minimal work! It was a special day for us, we became so disappointed that we walked out without any fuss and went to the restaurant next door called Canteen which was an absolute chance discovery and their food, beverages and service were excellent. I wonder how two side by side pubs / restros treat their customers so...
Read moreSelf and better half had the opportunity to dine in the restaurant last weekend. The place was surprisingly well designed and decorated. One fine piece of decor was a wall filled with different memorabilia/pieces which was very appealing. The food was awesome and beverage collection fine enough. The complimentary snacks for the drinks were served in fine crockery. Food was great. Chicken fry as a starter is definitely a recommendation and same goes for the noodles. We had the lucky encounter with the chef as well for a chit-chat on the dishes he served. The waiters were all well mannered and even promptly changed the television channel to catch with some English Premier League action. Would love to go back again with...
