The All Fish Restaurant — Restaurant in Bidhannagar

I should have given two stars for the decent behavior of the staff, but at the same time wanted to give a negative star for the food quality - so one star. In general the management of this restaurant must be utterly incompetent and/or dishonest to serve fish of such low quality, especially under the banner of department of fisheries - shame on you if you care to read this review.

We ordered daal with fish-head, bhetki paturi, doi kalta - which were decent. The special orders of fish fry (bhetki) and chitol peti were utter disgraces. The fish fry was hard as stone at the exterior and quite stale inside. The peti was rubbery and hard. When we complained the manager personally came and saw how bad the fish quality was and extended an apology.

In a decent private restaurant the manager should have the power to replace the fish or not charge on low quality product. But I think because it is a govt run restaurant - she did not have any such power. Bottom line, I don't plan to go...

If you are searching for Bengali fish cuisine in affordable price, this place is worth for the visit. The foods are okay type. Some dishes are really tasty. There are literally every type of fish dishes available there, which you can think of! Some offbeat items are also there, like Fish Paratha or Fish Chowmin. It's actually 'All Fish' restaurant. I couldn't find an item, which doesn't contain fish in it! Don't expect any other non-veg items like Mutton or Chicken. But they should really look after the hygiene.
