Kaappi 2.0 — Restaurant in Tamil Nadu

A very neat and chic cafe and eatery. This location had a tea stall for decades and now I see this cafe. I am guessing that this was an upgrade from a tea stall to an eatery. It has a nice upper rooftop area as well. They serve vadas, bonda, Elai Adai, steamed groundnuts, etc and tea (I am sure they'll have other beverages too). The women who maintain this place keep the kitchen really nice and clean. I have tried the vadas and Elai Adai. They were perfectly done and delicious. More importantly, pricing is nominal and affordable (e.g. Vadas at ₹15 per Vada and Elai Adai around ₹20 ). Definitely...

This is actually a wonderful concept of having a small roof top dine-in place in a tea shop... We went there on a fine weekend evening, we ordered cardamom tea and Kumbakonam coffee, they also provide variety of tea and coffee (refer to their menu card) which was actually good and we ordered some snacks along with it.. All the snacks were good and coimbatore's wonderful weather and breeze added bliss to the roof top experience with the awesome tea and snacks. This is one of the worst places I have ever been to .. they make the worst sandwiches with old oil which no one knows how old it is and they say it's butter and give you excuse saying they are part time workers . The snacks taste the worst they come in the morning and get served till evening .. when you say the food is not good , staff will say that they will remove it...
