My congratulations to the Diablo management and owner of Diablo Priyank Sukhika on subverting Google reviews and despite such negative review yet they to manage drawHEAVY CROWDS.
I am writing this review at 02:00am immediately after coming from Diablo. Went to diablo to celebrate my birthday .. Was charged 5000for couple entry (more on this in the latter part). The valet charged me Rs 200without any slip (some Google review says they charge rupees 150)
On entry which more appeared to be more sort of an entitlement (ehsan)than courtesy. They asked for Rs1000 extra in form of COVER CHARGE (heard the term for first time) Which they said was redeemable at the end whichsound more like refund for an ordinary bloke like me
The Google review or Zomato review which says that you can have food at Rs.2500.is.clearly taking you for a ride. Heck even an Liit or Mimosa costs you 1500 Even a red bull cost Rs 500.
Virtually Zero arrangements.for cooling in this sweltering heat with Ac exhausts and kitchen exhaust opening in the courtyard and are area surrounding the Dj
The Dj played techno (can be subjective) with lights in the background..
Stayed there for 2and half hour. In the end was left with coupons amounting Rs 800. Went to collect refund of rs 800 which they said can't be refund but rather used to buy food and drinks exhausted as I was ordered the cheapest drink kamikaze shot of vodka which was costing rupees 800 to which they replied it was unavailable so ended up buying 8 bottles of mineral water costing rupees hundred each perhaps the best thing which was available at that place.
I really don't expect that even Google would post my review or even...
Read morePretty shocking as a tourist to drop 6000 ($70 USD) on cover, only to have wait staff yell in my face over a simple mistake that I took ownership over. I noticed while waiting that the bill was incorrect (wrong item ordered) and tried to have the server correct it. He refused to do so I relayed to him that I was not interested in eating it. I was going to take the loss on the 3000 rupees on the food I didn't want but didn't want it to be delivered to my table. He still did so. When I brought it to the bar to tell the bartender that I didn't want it, the server proceeded to bring it back to my table. I had told him multiple times it was fine and that I just was not going to eat, just enjoy the music.
He then proceeded to yell in my face telling me I was wrong. All I wanted to do at that point was enjoy the music. However, not feeling welcomed, I left immediately. I have traveled all over the world. Never have I ever been yelled at by service staff. I was completely fine with whoever made the mistake, whether I didn't speak clearly or whatever, I just wasn't interested in the food delivered to me. That should have been the end of the subject—not the server angrily returning the food to my table and yelling at me.
This is only my 2nd day of visiting India. Returning to my hotel unfed and angry is not really how I want to feel after dropping 1000s of USD and flying halfway across the world.
Music and atmosphere were otherwise very good. Multiple patrons came up to me to dance with me and try to calm me down as I was alone. I went to get street food for 300 and received much...
Read moreAn awesome night to remember from ambience to the food, everything was amazing.
Great ambience with good sitting options inside as well as outside, lip smacking food and cocktails makes it the place to be.
I went in with 2 friends on a Thursday night and was immediately greeted by the staff on the entrance, the restaurant was buzzing and we chose to sit outside.
Our sitting was very comfortable and every table gives you a clear view of the chef working in the kitchen.
The cuisine was Middle Eastern so the menu was a tricky part but our server Mr. Rinku was well versed and explained us the dishes and suggested what to order.
We went with his suggestion and ordered Fattouch, Hummus, Ensalada de grass, Jujeh kabab, Koo koo, Tagine djaj, Adasi, Apple and walnut in dessert
The salad and dips were out of the world. The Hummus was so creamy and tasteful. The ingredients used were fresh and so was the bread baked in front of you.
Kebab was one of the best I have had. It was so soft and melt on the mouth served with fresh salad, dips (curd and tomato based) on bed of rice.
Our drinks arrived on time and were good.
Time to time managers would visit our table and ask about our experience.
All in all, it was an evening well spent with good food, ambiance and music.
Special thanks to our server Rinku who made our experience exceptional.
P.s They are having infrared thermometer on the gate for checking everyone's body temperature which I have not ...
