Gypsy Café, nestled in the heart of Delhi, has earned its reputation as the city's best cafe, and for good reason. From the moment you step inside, you're transported to a world of charm and culinary delight that sets it apart from the rest.

The cafe's ambiance is a delightful fusion of rustic and artistic elements, creating a cozy, laid-back atmosphere. The eclectic decor, featuring vintage furniture, colorful tapestries, and a profusion of potted plants, invokes a sense of wanderlust and creativity. It's an oasis where you can escape the city's hustle and bustle.

The menu at Gypsy Café is a gastronomic journey that caters to a wide range of tastes. From artisanal coffee and exotic teas to delectable pastries, hearty breakfast options, and globally-inspired cuisine, every dish is a flavorful masterpiece. The emphasis on fresh, locally-sourced ingredients and innovative recipes ensures a memorable culinary experience.

What truly distinguishes Gypsy Café is its commitment to customer satisfaction. The attentive and friendly staff go above and beyond to make guests feel welcome, and the cafe often hosts live music events and art exhibitions, enhancing the overall experience.

Gypsy Café's appeal extends beyond its food and ambiance. It's a place where you can unwind, catch up with friends, work in a creative environment, or simply lose yourself in a good book. This multifaceted approach is what makes Gypsy Café the best cafe in Delhi, offering a memorable and well-rounded experience for all who walk...

Tl;dr - A really cool place, but run by people with small hearts.

The place- Gypsy cafe has an air of a laid back place, with floor seating and all the tables are pretty close by. It is the type of cafes where you could spend time playing board games, or jam. The balcony is beautifully done, and must definitely be used.

The people who run it (IMPORTANT READ)- It is understaffed (just one person to take orders and cook, unless the owner is there to serve as well),this one person has instructions from the owner to ask people to order in one go (have their food and leave fast), he told us there is a camera inside and the owner does not like people to spend a long time in the cafe. (I am not sure if this was because we were three men), this made us feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed. I assured the cook/waiter that we don't mind spending money on meals as we like it here, but he was adamant about us leaving fast. I had a word with the owner about this when he came to the cafe, and he said we could stay longer. But the looks from the lady who came along with the owner (who probably runs the place too) said it all, she wanted us to leave and would stare at us repeatedly with disgust.

The food - it might take some time to prepare, but the food is worth a try, good idea to ask the cook/waiter for...

⭐ 1/5 - Extremely Disappointed by the Hygiene Standards

I visited Gypsy Cafe expecting a cozy, boho-themed vibe, but what I experienced was absolutely appalling. While the décor might appear aesthetically pleasing at first glance, the place clearly lacks basic hygiene and maintenance.

To my utter shock, I saw a roach crawling on the walls and moving over the silverware. Yes — on the very utensils meant to be served to customers. This is completely unacceptable for any establishment serving food. If roaches are roaming freely around the dining area, I shudder to imagine what the kitchen looks like.

We immediately brought this to the attention of the owner and even showed him a photo for proof. Instead of being apologetic or taking responsibility, he shrugged it off with a smug smile, casually stating that they'd “just had pest control” and it “doesn’t cause an issue.” Frankly, that attitude was as disturbing as the incident itself. A pest infestation is absolutely an issue — especially when it’s this visible.

This experience left us uncomfortable and unsure whether we could trust the food being served. No ambiance or decor can make up for poor hygiene and dismissive management.

Until they take their cleanliness and customer feedback seriously, I would not recommend...

Upon entering the café, I was immediately struck by an unbearable odor, reminiscent of unwashed socks, permeating the air. It seemed the air conditioning was either non-functional or insufficient, failing to mitigate the stench. Thankfully, I had my perfume on hand and used a significant amount just to make my stay tolerable. The music was pleasant, contributing to an average ambiance. Service was prompt, with food arriving quickly. However, the culinary experience was disappointing: • Pasta Alfredo: Bland and flavorless, hardly justifying its ₹300 price tag. • Burger Sandwich: Priced similarly, it contained analog paneer, evident from its unappetizing taste. • Strawberry Soda: Acceptable, though clearly made from syrup, leaving little room for error. Despite my initial hunger, the unpalatable food led me to leave most of it uneaten. The combination of the pervasive odor and substandard dishes resulted in a thoroughly unsatisfactory experience. Significant improvements in both environmental conditions and food quality are imperative for this establishment to remain viable.

Gypsy Café is a cozy little escape that feels less like a café and more like stepping into someone’s bohemian dream ….. From the moment you walk in, you’re embraced by a kaleidoscope of colors, textures, and stories …. vibrant wall art that sparks both nostalgia and curiosity The floor seating setup adds to the intimate, grounded feel perfect for slow conversations, journaling or just sipping tea while watching the world slow down The décor isn’t trying to be trend it’s soulful messy in a beautiful way and full of character Every detail from the psychedelic murals to the handmade crafts feels intentional as if the place was built by travelers and artists who left pieces of their heart behind …. But here’s the boomer ; They don’t have good coffees here so if you’re gonna have coffee here don’t try it Better try other places 😅 Not sure about the food we didn’t tried as coffee turned us off
