Hauz Khas Social — Restaurant in Delhi

Looking for a perfect date place in hauz khas village..?? "Social" comes in mind, yes this place is known for there beautiful property, inovative food and the view which very few places serves in haus khaz and this is also one of them. Social is located in hauz khas village and the nearest metro station is green park metro station, not a walking distance but you have to take any mode of transportation to reach there. It's a beautiful property ,quite a big one i must say! ,with an open bar attached to it where you can customised your drink according to your taste.

This place is famous for there open lake side view, which is die for, i mean i can sit whole day watching that lake side view and having my meal.

One of my favourite places in hauz khas. Perfect for that cozy date, as there are lots of sittings to choose from, divided in two sections one is bit dark and the other one is lake side view, and m a happy kid when i always get my favourite seats.

• Seating are comfortable, easily holds 40-50 people in one go!

• Ambiance is just amazing.What i most liked about this place is, like mostly restro,pubs are having high music these days, and i found this place is so calm and soothing, that is the reason i love visiting here again and again!

• Service is super fast, i was handling by "Amit jha" as he was so humble and took good care of us. M impressed by his hospitality.

• Pricing is also affordable ,as compared to hauz khas standard.

• Presentation is point, appealing to eyes.

Overall a nice place to hangout with your friends and family, and had a good time offcourse with good food.

• In food - • Oreo mud shake - It was little runny ,otherwise i like it. (3.5/5)

• Purani delhi chaat walk - This is a chaat platter which consist of Golgappas, Dahi bhalle, Raj kachori along with golpappa stuffings and meetha, teekha paani. A perfect platter to end your chaat craving. completly worth! (5/5)

• Dhingra's punjabi thali - I would say this is best breakfast platter they are serving, which includes, one paratha (you can choose your favourite filling, i end up choosing paneer filling), lassi, tea, samosa, aachar, chole plus makhan. Loved it to the core. (5/5)

• Chilli chicken black pepper with hakka noodles - These were noodles served in a box (i like the concept), along with good chunks of chicken pieces and a half fried egg on the top. Noodles lover will definetly gonna love it! (4/5)

• Chicken chuza69 - These were chicken pieces, served in stand, too be very frank i didn't like it too much as the coating of the chicken (which is besan based).,which is over powering the taste of chicken. (4/5)

• Chocolate chutzpa - I mean damm, this is heaven for dark chocolate lovers, beautifully presented with a chocobar attached to it, worth of every single penny. Highly recommended! (5/5)

Been here 2 times...Worst Music tastes in floors & DJ too they never work upon even if you try to ..... ( I listened there to many saying similar yet...)

At first they (the so-so staff) will ask you to wait for 20/30/45 mints. Min for a table reservation offline.... occassionally @weekends & important days...after your payments been made @ entry gate.

After more than a hour you get to receive a confirmation text at each floors as per they made this numbering situation rule to you...(Especially the roof top) They will make you keep waiting even 30 mints. More. You'll not believe we're tired of asking and also there were many public facing similar issues...felt like harassment in name of hospitality... That roof top (tall fat dark) guy just kept smiling and saying "ma'am we're confirming your table" for sharp 30 mints.... More & more... I asked him to see every 15 mints.. if there is any empty table available ...but he kept making excuses..this and that , so & so...He said "we're meant for your services only"

What I did then asked my finance to help me instead find a table...he saw two of them were empty and when he asked similar that staff again tries to defend his words in front of each & every public facing similar harassments.... Not seriously well behaved..I would have not even rated 1 if there was any option left.

Lastly the guy was behaving very domestic & informal... I put in words how I wanted to share my reviews with, but he asked me to go & move ahead. ( That too smiling in his attitudes...like Li'l did it mattered to him then)

After sometime when my fiance tried to make him understand the situation he said sorry (that he was not willing to.. obviously not in front of everyone...with his facial expressions ) but then we said "you must be".

Don't expect much if you're visiting. Truly is overhyped. They don't care your reviews or you.

Just "chal raha hai... toh chalne do...ek nahi toh,aur hazaar aayenge to sahi.."

Toxic LIT drink 500ml not worth it as full of ice cubes..very minimal quantity & tastes very watery accordingly.

Not going again or recommending anyone . But if you're here,next time please try to talk to...
