Khidmat — Restaurant in Delhi

Yesterday 18 october 2018 I went to their restaurant alongwith my friend. The bill came Rs1900 for 3 items but if service is good we dont care for bill . but as per the rule it is the choice of the customer to pay service charges or not ,after this my friend(who is a lady) said to the waiter that we are not going to pay 190 + for service charge .On this the waiter ( tall guy ) spoke so badly shouted and arrogantly said (humko pehle batana chahiye tha) There is no rule of telling this to the restaurant in advance It was an occasion of durga pooja and we did not called the police because we did not wanted to spoil our mood but it is to be thought that of paneer tikka is of Rs 60 on roadside and the give it for Rs 325 + taxes why a person pays high? for good service ? correct . this type of behavior by these people shows their utter disrespect towards women and the arrogance of the hotel I will never go there whereas I used to go there since many years . I have been a regular patron of Khidmat for over 15 years and always appreciated the quality and consistency of their food in the past. Unfortunately, over the last few months, the standards have declined significantly.

Two months ago, I ordered a veg biryani and was shocked to find a cockroach in the handi. While the restaurant did replace the order after a formal complaint, such an incident should never occur in the first place.

Today, on an important family occasion, I placed another order hoping for better service. To my disappointment, the food delivered was stale — not just slightly off, but clearly unfit to be served. Once again, the only solution offered was an “exchange.” This raises a serious concern: are customers expected to repeatedly accept compromised food and rely on replacements instead of receiving fresh, hygienic meals the first time?

KHIDMAT :This casual dining place gives you an experience of fine dining . The decor is elegant, beautiful lit, with spacious and comfy seating arrangements.

Yesterday I truly had a mesmerizing experience at this place with my daughter.Be it their food recipes, presentations or servings, everything was upto the mark.

My favourite and the recommended dishes from the one we tried:

TANDOORI MUSHROOMS:A must try, fully marinated and stuffed with cottage cheese. Soft,tender and delicious.

TANDOORI SOYA CHAAP: Very sofy chaap pieces, stuffed with cheese n accompanied with mint chutney n onions.

CHICKEN LOLLYPOP:well garnished, scrumptious and droolworthy.

IN DESSERTS :We had

ICE-CREAM SUNDAE:A perfect dessert with brownie, two scoops of ice-creams n chocolate sauce in a beautiful tumbler.Personally recommended.

The lovely dining experience and their great hospitality made our evening perfect.I will definitely recommend it to everyone to try this place with their family...
