45 mins after placing the order online and after the cutoff time in the email for delivery, the pizza has not shown up yet. I called the online customer care number and was told that the pizza should reach me in 5-10 minutes.
15 minutes later with still no pizza, I call the online customer care number again. The agent calls the store with me on conference but no-one at the store is picking up the phone. The agent gave me the number to the store to try calling directly instead. I don't know how he expects the store to pick up my call when they are not picking up his call. Upon communicating the same, he says he'll try calling the store again. Noone answers the phone at the store still and the online agent also disconnects my call. There are 4 hungry adults and 1 hungry child at home, all waiting for pizza to show up.
1 hour and 15 mins after placing the order and no sign of pizza yet, I finally decided to order my food from some place else. The other place delivered, all of us finished eating the food also.
Finally, 2 hours after placing the original order, the delivery person from Pizza hut Kalkaji store shows up with my order. Knowing that probably there's not much wrong that the delivery person has done here, I conveyed the same feedback to him to pass on to the store management. The only consolation I was offered as part of the policy was Rs 300 off my total order bill. I refused the delivery.
This is horrendous service from the store and Pizza hut itself. If the store was busy and couldn't deliver on promised time, it should not accept orders in the first place. Or if its going to be 2 hours late, then my mobile number was there in the order and I could have been contacted about the possible delay. Even if not that, when customer tries calling the store themselves, someone should atleast answer the phone. Barring that, if pizza hut online customer care itself tries to call the store, that call should atleast be answered. This is a failure at so...
Read moreHi around 1:10pm half an hour back I visited this outlet. For good 5minutes I kept on waiting for any attendant and saying hello any1. But their were good 3 people sitting at the back enjoying music.when I shouted 1 guy came. Then I hurriedly placed the order. To my surprise I was told Pasta has been discontinued by Pizza Hut. When I asked why on the nemu card and on the display I still see makhani chicken pasta for 199 they told me the display board is not updated. I ordered bbq melts meal non veg as mentioned on the menu it was for 309 but in the bill they said 349 when I asked why, they replied 40 rs for Pepsi. I showed them the menu and the pricing they said the billing machine is correct I will have to go according to that machine and not the menu card or the display screen. Then the music stopped and a lady came from behind the kitchen in a bad mood and said why all this confusion. After wasting my good 20minutes another guy came who could not walk properly (differently bles) and started arguing. I will make the bill and rest should start the food preparation.. all this while so called incharge that lady making faces and giving me the customer weird bad looks and facial expressions, this was actually too much...
Read moreWorst pizza I've ever tasted. I have never seen such incompetence from a multi-national company. Here’s what went wrong: Freshly delivered pizza completely cold. We had also ordered fries and they were soggier than a wet tissue paper. The pizza(s) were so low quality, low effort - almost like they were scrapped together to be done with as soon as possible. The cheese was probably artificial, or at most it was expired. The cheese tasted VERY suspicious and its texture was ketchup-like. Tasted nothing like cheese. Tried calling 2-3 different customer service numbers. Waited in line to be connected to a representative for about 10 minutes each call and at the end we got a “goodbye” message and they cut the call. What is this tomfoolery? This is far from the bare minimum for customer service. Almost like they’re aware of the flimsy pizzas they make.
If you’ve the read the entire review, PLEASE stay away from this company, no matter how many offers and discounts you get. Needless to say, I wouldn’t eat anything from Pizza Hut even if I was starving in the middle of the Sahara...
