My recent dinner at MRA left me with mixed feelings that could rival a dramatic plot twist. The anticipation was high as I ventured into this hyped restaurant, expecting a culinary symphony that would leave my taste buds dancing. Unfortunately, reality didn't quite match the script.
Let's start with the alfaham, which turned out to be a disappointing lead actor. With eager anticipation, I took a bite, only to be met with a disappointing undercooked performance. The flavors were muted, and the texture was far from the delightful tenderness I had hoped for. It was like a promising audition gone awry, leaving me longing for a more seasoned star on my plate.
And then there was the shawarma – the supporting role that took a greasy turn. Now, I'm all for indulging in a little decadence, but this shawarma seemed to have taken an oil bath before gracing my plate. Each bite was like a slippery slope, where the flavors struggled to shine amidst the overpowering oiliness. It was like a talented actor lost in a poorly directed scene.
The ambiance at MRA was a saving grace, providing a glimmer of hope amidst the culinary letdown. The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were attentive, making the experience somewhat redeemable. However, even the charming setting couldn't completely overshadow the disappointment of the lackluster dishes.
In the end, MRA felt like a movie trailer that promised excitement but failed to deliver the expected plot twists. While the ambiance and service had their moments, the poorly executed alfaham and excessively oily shawarma left me yearning for a more satisfying dining experience. It's a reminder that not every hyped restaurant lives up to its reputation, and sometimes, the most anticipated performances fall flat on...
Read moreToday, I visited the MRA restaurant located near LULU Mall in Cochin. Unfortunately, I had an unpleasant experience with the customer service provided by the staff. I spent two hours there, and nothing happened, leading to dissatisfaction. I was the only person sitting near the bill counter, and some of the staff were engrossed in conversation rather than attending to customers. As customers, our time is valuable, and it would be helpful if the owner could terminate the employment of staff members who do not comply with the rules and regulations. It would also be beneficial to provide guidance on how to satisfy customers.
After waiting for an hour, a boy finally attended to me, and I requested to speak to the manager. However, I waited for over an hour, and no one attended to me. It is essential to note which customer entered the restaurant first and assign a server accordingly.
Upon checking reviews of the restaurant, I noticed that many customers have faced similar issues. Some have posted reviews on MD Sharib, Aazil Jamal, Travel notes by prasad, Anju Jayakumar, Athira sundar, Akbar moidu k, Amith Mathew, Midhun George, Fathima M, and Gulzar Ahmed. This repetition shows a lack of control over the staff. I recommend that the owner terminates the employment of irresponsible and unprofessional staff and hires new ones.
I hope that this review reaches the owner, and they take necessary measures to improve the restaurant's services. I suggest appointing a powerful manager to control the first-floor staff. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I do not recommend it to anyone else. As customers, we value our time, and we deserve...
Read moreOk so this is my second review for MRA. I had tried MRA edappally sometime back when they opened it and I was a satisfied customer though not 100%. But few weeks ago I had a very pathetic experience and I am really dissatisfied with the service and the food. I had to wait for 30 minutes to get a table and I asked them before hand if Mandi is available and the answer was yes. While the waiter was taking the order he mentioned Mandi is not available and they have only Alfam Mandi and I said yes half minded. And when he delivered the food imagine what, it was something else!!! I was surprised and I asked him and he mentioned " this is really a nice one it is Mandi rice with grilled chicken kebab". I was shocked how can they just deliver what they like if my order is not available. They should have the manners to let me know the same instead of taking their own decision. And the charge was 270/- for a quarter with very less quantity. Absolutely not worth the money. I the had to speak to the manager to get it exchanged and I ordered chest piece Pepper Alfam. Again you know what they delivered normal alfam which was not properly cooked. And I had to change that again and finally got the pepper alfam that I ordered. Alfam was okay and not that great. I had to literally waste my time there and eat what they served half minded. The food was served in disposable plates and tiny containers for mayonnaise and they did charge me for that. I was shocked they are charging for containers for dine in???? Totally totally dissatisfied with the service and restaurant and the people whom I spoke to get food exchanged!!! Pathetic service. HIGHLY NOT...
