Hotel Maalaxmi — Restaurant in Goa

This place is a hidden gem right in the Panjim market. It's has an AC section on top too. Even families can come. Pls don't mind the pic, was too hungry to grab my first morsel. This is a chonak Thali ( white snapper ). It comes with kingfish curry, shellfish with coconut, ambottik, French bean bhaji, white rice, pickle, salad and Sol kadi. The ambottik was so damn good, size of the chonak fry was a good portion. It's kinda on the spicy side. Not sure what was spicy could be the curry or the fish. So if you love spicy nothing like it, if you don't like spicy they use less curry. A must try place. Kingfish and Chonak Thali is 200/- bucks, regular I guess...

Food is really great, and not just for the cheap price, it is actually amazing. Their tandoor & chinese menu, especially their squid based dishes, is what we tried & we loved it. In a place surrounded by people lining outside snack centres, this nifty little place turned out to be a real gem. This place offers great food at a lower price and is an absolute value for money. Any food here is tasty overall. I would mostly recommend seafood like fish (lefpo, chonok, etc) and squids.
