A Hidden Pan-Asian Gem in Panaji!
I stumbled upon Bombli while exploring Goa, and it turned out to be one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. Tucked away near Don Bosco School in Panaji, this cozy little restaurant blends warm hospitality with stylish Japanese-inspired interiors. The space is split into two levels—downstairs feels intimate and inviting, while upstairs opens up into a calm, dimly lit Tokyo-style lounge. Super aesthetic and relaxing.
We started with cocktails, and both were impressive: -Oriental Mist (grape-flavoured) was incredibly refreshing—light, crisp, and beautifully balanced. -Orange Whisky Sour delivered a perfect zesty punch with a smooth finish.
Next up, the sushi: -Salmon Tataki topped with mango and melt-in-your-mouth salmon—easily one of the best sushi plates I’ve had. -Maguro Nigiri was fresh, simple, and perfectly executed.
Then came the main courses: -Ebi Ramen Bowl — rich, flavorful broth, loaded with veggies and juicy prawns. Comfort food perfection. -Oriental Seafood Thali — an absolute showstopper. Chicken skewers were soft and smoky, the curry had that ideal spicy-sweet balance, and the sautéed veggies and basil-squid brought everything together beautifully.
Finally, we wrapped up with two scoops of Japanese ice cream: -Mango Basil — tropical, refreshing, with a unique herbal twist. -Sesame — creamy, nutty, and unlike anything I’ve had before.
Every dish was thoughtfully prepared and beautifully presented. The staff was courteous, the ambiance was calm yet stylish, and the whole experience felt elevated without being pretentious.
Highly recommend Bombli if you're in Goa and looking for a memorable Pan-Asian dining...
Read moreWonderful place, was transported to China from Goa! Located opposite Don Bosco, Naturals, Belgian Waffle & very close to the main Panjim market, this place is an absolute treat to oneself. It's a G plus one outlet with a very inviting external ambience. The first thing you notice is that every corner of the place has so much detailing, it's amazing so much of thought has been put in here. Like the fish tanks with mini colorful fishes, the table with tree branches as legs, jute hanging lights, personalised tissues, old monk vases with orchids, five different oriental sauces, etc. They even played light oriental music, very soothing. We were seated by smiling young girls , Ally was so charming, who explained the menu. It's a mix of Pan Asian cuisine. We were offered hot lemon grass water & complimentary thai Leaf wrapped salad which was absolutely exquisite. For starters we had steamed a Bali dish fish wrapped in banana leaf & light oriental sauce and main course we tried the exotic mushroom noodles & crab meat fried rice. Everything was perfect, the flavours, portion sizes, presentation, & aromas. The cutlery was beautiful ceramic & the serving dishes were unique, we were served the starters in a huge oyster shell & the crab meat rice in a Jumbo coconut shell. The washrooms were clean & fragrant. Free street parking. A very beautiful experience indeed. Thankyou for such an exquisite meal & experience at such reasonable pricing. Definitely visiting with family &...
